Crystal and Clarity will be back shortly, and can get him all mended up." She nods to Echo. "I'm sure he'll be fine," she smiles. "Come to the clearing when you're ready, and we'll introduce you and Etch to the rest of the pack." She turns, not showing them the sadness in her eyes, and pads back to her den.
Echo watched the girl-wolves with a gleeful smirk. They sure knew what they were doing. He had a very young, flirty personality, and couldn't help being impressed by their skills and knowledge. "So.. have you girls lived here for a while, or are you newcomers like us?"Etch stirred again. Suddenly his eyes opened and he let out a terrified gasp. He looked around nervously. Not seeing his brother immediately, he tried standing up before an excruciatingly sharp pain sent him tumbling back to the ground. He felt dry blood on his fur. Wishing to turn his attention away from the distasteful sight, he carelessly glanced upward. That's when he saw them, two fae-wolves tending to his wounds. His face turned white. "What happened?" he whispered, "Where am I... am I in Heaven?" A loud laugh from his brother brought him back to reality.Echo laughed loudly. Noticing his brother's white face and wide eyes, he took the liberty to explain to the two, "Don't worry about him.. he's really shy and he's been through a lot." Another laugh erupted before he stopped and nuzzled his brother. "Welcome back, bro. God, I am so happy to hear your voice again. You really had me worried for a while there," He laughed it off. Now that he knew Etch was alright and would recover soon, Echo's normal happy-go-lucky personality returned.
