Loka wasn't used to being bowed to, and he takes a step back, "eh, well, i'm beta, i thought alpha would be too much of a responsibility and that others would think i was foxglove's mate" he shudders at the thought jokingly

Leo laughed at Loka's joking tone. "So I take it Foxglove is a close friend of yours then? That's good; packs are stronger when bonds between members are strong." Leo said, "And beta is still quite an admirable position for one as young as yourself. If Foxglove is recruiting, you may have to start getting used to displays of submission. After all," Leo added lightly, "betas are second in command to the alphas."

Loka grins "yeah, she adoped me as her brother when i was born, thats where i got the neon green neckercheif around my neck, the purple writing, its my mother's name" he shook so that the neckercheif can be seen better

Shasta sees a wolf up ahead (Leo). She hasn't really seen any other wolves in a while but she kept her distance just in case he was dangerous. "Who are you?" She growls and steps out from behind a tree. She narrows her eyes at the wolf and wonders what hes doing here and if theirs another pack near by.She didn't really know if she was in another pack's territory or not.

Leo took in the fae's appearance calmly. Her light white-blond fur was unlike any color he had ever seen on a wolf; where he came from, wolves tended to have darker coats, light coats were rare. Her low growl, narrowed eyes and challenging question didn't alarm him. The brute was large and intimidating, and he knew this. Leo remained in his relaxed, sitting position and flicked his ears to indicate to the female he was not going to advance or threaten her. Then he spoke, his calm, deep voice breaking the silence.

"I am Leo." he stated, "I am waiting to speak to the alpha fae who lives on this territory, she is speaking with another wolf at the moment. I expect she'll be back soon, if you'd like to wait as well?"

Shasta wondered why the wolf was so calm. "I'm Shasta, and sure. I need to start settling down instead of being a loner so I have decided to search for a pack to join." She explained, starting to calm down herself. She suddenly growled as she heard another voice. She whipped around quickly and saw another brute. He had pack scent on him. She started calming down again, knowing he was from the pack.She nodded her head in greeting and sat down. She listened to the two wolves talk and caught that the new brute was named Loka and he was beta. He did seem a little young to be beta but she didn't think about it to much, she had other things on her mind. She wondered if the alpha would accept her.

Loka looks at the fea and grins as Foxglove comes out of the woods, followed by a small white wolf

"I see," Leo said, studying the neckercheif with his golden eyes. He nodded to Shasta in welcome as she settled in to listen to him and Loka's conversation, glad that she was feeling calm enough to do it. Leo didn't know her, didn't know what caused her to be so untrusting, but was saddened to see such a trait. He knew something must have happened to her, but he decided not to press for details, it was her business after all.

Loka looks at the fea and grins as Foxglove comes out of the woods, followed by a small white wolf

Leo looked up and pricked his ears in alert as the alpha emerged with the smaller fae. He supposed she must be a new recruit. She was quite small, and snow white. He thought she looked more like a fox then a wolf and wondered if she was a hybrid, a runt or just small. He felt a rush of protectiveness flow over him despite the fact that he knew she wasn't a pup. Leo couldn't help it, he had always been protective of the young and small, even when he had been a cocky, ambitious youngster.

Leo tore his attention away from the fae as the pair drew closer. He bowed to Foxglove in submission and said: "Welcome alpha."

Foxglove dipped her head slightly in welcome to all around her "now i have a choice to give you" she stood straight and confident looking at the others, "you can either stay and become members of my pack, in which you will get jobs that you must do in order for this pack to be run effectively and safely, or... you can leave and continue on your way, but i must warn you, if you do decide to leave and become a part of either the rouge pack, an opposing pack, or a loner, if we attack, we will not think twice just because we've met"

Loka sat and listened

Leo stepped forward and dipped his head in respect before speaking. "I would like to join your pack alpha. I have wandered many places and learned many things. One of the most important lessons I've learned is that wolves are meant to be in packs. I promise that I won't use my size or strength to challenge you or your decrees; it will be used only to better the safety and well-being of the pack. If you accept me, I will move into any rank, job or position that you place me without arguement; from alpha to omega."

OOC: I use omega as term for the lowest wolf, if you don't use that term i'll edit the post.

Foxglove dips her head slightly to him "then welcome, you shall be lead guard and fighter, unless you'd rather something different"

"That's absolutely fine, I'm honored." Leo said modestly, walking forward to stand beside Loka and the small fae. He shook his long mane, stretched and relaxed. Despite his outward appearance, he had been anxious of the alpha's decision. Lead guard and fighter showed that the alpha's first impression of him had been good, and he inwardly vowed to do all he could to uphold her confidence. He sat up straight and shifted his focus to Shasta, who had yet to be accepted.
