Mud stood up and turned to Sky, "Thank you. I won't leave you ever." he said meaning it this time.

"No one would take you in away, looking like the rear end of a deer!"She joked laughing.

Mud couldn't help but laugh. "I might scare them all of like my father." he said smiling.

"Yes, I agree!!!"She laughed winking at him now. "Just focus on getting better!"She grinned.

Mud got grim, "Sky I hope you realize that this will never heal properly." he said a bit upset about that.

"I know"She sighed looking over to him kinda worried. "But, Now every day I see your face, It will not only show me what I already got, but what you've done for us. A constant reminder that you saved my life and the pups"she said giving him a weak smile. "You'll never know how thankful I am for what you've done already for the pups, At least not till you better"She whispered in his ear grinning slightly.

Mud smiled and licked her cheek. "You should thank your brave pups. If it weren't for them you might have gotten killed." he said looking over at them wrestling.

"They are all I care about, My lifes nothing without them and they are what kept me strong when no one else did, I would die a million times over for them"She smiled warmly watching the pups mess with each other.

"And I am sure they would do the same for you. I would too." he said setting his paw on her's.

"I think thats the nicest thing youve ever said to me?!"She gleamed happily. The sun came out and shone through the trees.
