Hakou snarled he felt back know that he had killed Coal. Hakou walked back Blossom, he brushed up against her.

Blossom didn't bat an eye as he brushed up against her flank; she could tell he was feeling what she did. Cold regret- it seemed to swamp up against her fur, drag her down and drown the life out of her.
She lightly let her muzzle lean against his jutting shoulder, sighing.

Nykirke picked his way through the snow, treading carefully as not to fall into any deep spots. It wasn't his idea of a good home, but he always managed to be in the most uncomfortable positions.
Wolves gathered before him, and he approached them with caution, testing to see if they were friendly or not. If they became aggressive, he would bolt--but he was desperate for company and these wolves would have to do.
