Calix followed her, his paws made no sound on the cool, green grass. He heard the rushing of the river and saw it sparkling behind him.

He walke up to Selene. "Hi" he said.

"Hi."Selene's paws hit the cold stone of the cliffs.She looked over at the forest that lay past the Cliffs."Isn't it beautiful?"

Enzo moved into the shadows as she saw wolves ahead.He smiled as she reconized Selene.Quietly he circled around them to get closer.

Calix joined her "yeah it is," he replied looking over the trees. Calix heard a twig snap and looked around he had the feeling he was being watched...

"yes" he said. "So Selene how are you??"

Enzo stood still as he broke a twig.His dark pelt made it almost impossible to see him in the shadows.

Selene turned her head as she heard the twig to.She scanned the forest but saw nothing,"Deer maybe?"She sighed the were upwind so she caught no scent."I'm fine."

Calix wasnt sure, he went to investigate but never strayed to far from Selene. Soon after he walked back to her "I think I saw a shadow of something big but im not sure..."

Selene nodded,"Okay.We'll leave in a minute or two.She moved closer to the edge and looked down at the river below.She took a step back.

Enzo saw an opportunity and shot forward.He slammed into Selene knocking her to the ground.

Selene yelped as something slammed into her.She landed on the ground,her head was over the edge.She snarled at Enzo as he put his paws on her side.

Enzo looked at the other two wolves."One move and the lady goes over to ledge."

"Leave her alone! What do you want?!" Calix screamed he was tempted to rush foward but resisted if he did she would die.
