Sacredvow lifted her paw gingerly from the ground and looked at the black that covered the toes. It was really odd looking and made her even more of an outcast. She sighed quietly and began towards the camp entrance. She slipped through the entrance then padded aimlessly through the trees. Her white pelt shown brightly amongst all the brown trees and fallen leaves, making her look sort of like a ghost, especially when she stepped into spots of sun.

Manefoot watched Sacredvow pad off. She seemed rather pretty but she was rather reclusive. He continued to groom himself as he thought of what he would be doing today.

Sacredvow had spotted a bluejay and she was slowly stalking towards it. The she-cat, though her pelt gave her a disadvantage, was a fairly good hunter. She crawled forward on her stomach feeling her heart pound against her chest. Her tail tip began to twitch as she grew closer and closer and then she sprang forward. She leapt into the air as the bird tried to make and escape and she hooked her claws into it's wing. She dragged it down but as she landed her paw gave way and she fell on the ground. She managed to keep hold of her prey and she quickly killed it before looking at her paw. It was only sprained luckily. She mewed quietly to herself and stood up keeping the weight off her injured paw. She began to make her way back to camp but stopped as she grew tired. She gingerly laid down at the base of a tree and set the bluejay beside her. She would rest for now until she was able to go back.

Lionpaw woke up in the apprentices den. He bounced to his paws and ran out,eager for a day of training and hunting and, he sighed, cleaning dens and changing bedding. He began to get excited when he remembered that he had changed the bedding the day before. He looked around for his mentor, eager to start training.

Manefoot rolled his eyes when he saw Lionpaw come out into the clearing. That apprentice would never sit still. He just finished cleaning his paws.

Finally, Sacredvow was able to get up and make her way back to camp. She dragged the bluejay in her jaws and slowly took it to the fresh kill pile. She walked/limped to a nice spot in the shade. Unlike she usually did, she sat closer to the middle of the camp. She wanted to catch the medicine cat and ask her for something to stop the pain in her paw.

Manefoot noticed Sacredvow limp into the middle of the camp. He got up and padded over to her, hoping that she was okay. "Is your paw okay?" he asked, softly. He sat down beside her.

Sacredvow gave a startled hiss as Manefoot came over. The she-cat blinked at him not saying anything for a moment. When she did speak her voice was very quiet and smooth, "It's only a sprain." She didn't make eye contact with the tom but instead looked at the ground.

Manefoot was a little taken aback by Sacredvow's hiss but he regained his composure. "Okay," he said simply before turning back to where he had been sitting before she had come into the camp.
