Lightfoot kept a close eye on Duskflame, making sure he didn't try to sneak away. "I'll help you gaurd him," she offered Dawnbreeze.

Dawnbreeze: Thinks for a moment before saying, Yes, that's probably a good idea. We never know when he could try to escape, even in as bad a state as he is in. She starts applying cobweb to the smaller scratches.

Lightfoot bowed her head in thanks, and went to check on how the battle was going. There were only a couple cats left, but they looked strong. She went to report the news to Dawnbreeze and the captive. "Looks like your clan is leaving without you," she sneered, sending a cold glare at the injured cat. "Almost all of the cats are gone," she reported to Dawnbreeze.

Darkheart helped drive all the cats away from the elder's den, then stalked into the clearing. He saw that almost all the cats were gone, and went to the medicine cat's den to get a few scratches healed. He padded in and saw his sister helping Dawnbreeze. "There you are. I was starting to think that Lakeclan captured you," he teased. Lightfoot looked at her brother. "Nope, I was just helping Dawnbreeze heal a captive cat."

Duskflame: Oh... He said eating the poppyseeds Dawnbreeze had pushed towards him, but not looking upset at all.

Dawnbreeze: Let him get to sleep. He needs rest if we are ever to get him out of here. She says, shooing Darkheart and Lightfoot. She returns to her sister's side.

Iristail: Her breathing was becoming shallow and labored, but she woke just enough to notice Dawnbreeze grooming her pelt. She falls back asleep, somehow knowing that Dawnbreeze wouldn't be there when she woke up again.

Darkheart left to go help fight off the few remaining cats. Lightfoot stayed, though. "We're not keeping him captive? Aren't we gonna, I don't know, keep him captive so we can use him as a trading offer for another camp's land?" she asked, then felt stupid for saying such a thing.

Dawnbreeze: No, we aren't going to do that. That would make us just as bad as they are. But we might trade him back for no more invasions.

"Like they would agree to that..." she muttered under her breath. She turned to walk away, but looked over her shoulder and sent a cold glare at Duskflame, then stalked out.
