The sun shinned down on Shasta's cream and white colored fur as she padded through the Pine Pack's forest. Her icy blue eyes scanned the area around her, making sure no intruders had been here. Her head jerked up as she heard a bird call up in a tree. She saw the bird fly off and watched it until it was out of sight. Had something frightened the bird? she wondered but shook the thought out of her head, since she didn't really hear or smell anything. She was starting to get tired of walking and decided she would turn around soon.
