With a mischievous glimmer in his eyes, Akida spoke to Ajali, "Oh brother mine, please lend a helping paw! I fear our dearest queen is struck still by the savagery of this attack!"
Ajali's tail began to twitch faster, annoyed. He couldn't refuse without looking bad. "Fine," he sighed and waded in, pushing the cubs to one side.
Akida jumped up and tackled Ajali. "AHA! You fell for our clever trap! SWARM HIM!"
Ajali growled. He should have known.
Akida grinned at his brother's discomfort. The tom had to settle down someday, and Akida was determined to make his brother think about something other than eating, hunting, and sleeping for once. He smiled over at Honey, not wanting to leave anyone out of the fun. "Outnumbered and out maneuvered."
