Darkpaw darted out of the apprentices den, heading towards her mentor, MoonStar. "Hello MoonStar!" she said happily, chasing a pretend mouse in circles.

"Hello.Little Aaaaapprentice" she said with a big yawn.She got up and stretched a little,and exited her den.Shadowflower was gone to gather herbs.

Ash was near Moon's clan territory."Mother,wake up,mom" she said pushing her mother's dead body.

"I was just wondering if you were going to take me out today, so we could do some hunting..." she said,as she stopped cahisng the pretend rat, scared that her leader and mentor would say "No".
