Sky snorted & flicked her tail. She stomped & snorted. She shook her mane, hanging her head over the stall door.

Kalie warmed Tea up the other way. She patted the mares gray neck, before she slowed her down to a working walk. "Good girl." She said softly, where only the mare could hear.

She half halted the mare, slowly bring her back to the walk. Her hands were steady and quite. When the gait changed to a walk, she stopped half halting and just petted the mares silver gray neck as they walked. Kalie then looked over at Rachel. "Ready." She said, not a bit shy. But she knew Rachel and was okay outgoing around her trainer. Rachel's new students worried her. Would they like her? Would they be okay with her quite nature until she warmed up to them?

Rachel nodded, slowing France, and walking him next to Tea and Kalie. "Ok..So, your going to do an opening circle on the other end of the ring," She said, pointing to the opposite end. "Then you are going to canter the red and white oxer, then make a bending line to the dark green verticle. Once your over that, your going to change leads, and do the yellow oxer across the diagnal, and then the final jump is again the Blue oxer. Are you ok with that?" Rachel asked, still looking over the course.


A Gleaming brand new red dodge Pickup pulled into the farm, pulling a two horse trailer. The passenger seat opened, and polished tall boot stepped out. The door closed, now infront of it was a small dainty girl, with long hair pulled into a ponytail. She had a hunter green polo shirt on, and clean tan breetches. She put her hands on her hips looking around. She turned to the pickup, "Dad. Get my horses out of the truck. NOW." She flipped her hair over her shoulder, and walked towards the Juumping arena.

Kalie paused and looked at the new girl. She loved unloading horse! Why wasn't this girl unloading her own? The teenage girl then nodded to Rachel. "Okay." Kalie said. She clucked her tounege against the roof of her mouth and tapped Tea with her heels, asking for a trot.

Rachel looked at the new girl..Lexie.. She had spoken on the phone with her about a week ago. She turned her attention back to Kalie, ready to critique at any flaw, anthough knowing she mostlikly wouldn't need to.

Kalie urged Tea into a canter after a few strides at the trot. She lead the mare through the opening circle then directed her to the red and white oxer. She started to count down her strides to it. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. And Jump. She pressed her heel lightly into Tea's side telling her that this was their spot.

Rachel watched Tea and Kalie, the pair new what they were doing.

Tea lept off her hind legs, and soared over the jump, with inches to spare before she would have even come close to the rail.

Kalie slid her hands up the mares neck, in a relase. Her body weight came forward a bit, but not a lot. Even though she was an eventer, Kalie had perfect equation. She folowed Tea's center of gravity with her own. When they landed the teen age girl lead her pony towards the dark green verticale.

Rachel watched carefully, the child in front of her clearly had a gift for riding, and was intune with Tea. The bond between the two was visible at all times to Rachel; the pair were unstoppable.

Lexie mzrched up to the gate of the arena, stomping her foot impatiantly. "Uh, Helloo?" She called to the woman mounted on the large black horse. "Im Lexie Witherlins. Where do my horses go?" She asked, looking at her nails, with a board expression on her face.

Rachel turned from Kalie, "Any vacent stall." She said, turning quickly to watch Kalie.

Kalie started to count the strides till the next line as soon as she landed. She found her spot and asked Tea to jump again. The spot was a bit short for this jump, but Kalie was trying to make the striding work for the short strided pony.
