I stood over Tyler, crying. "I love you too." I whispered as he drifted away from me. Sobs shook my body as i weeped over his body, waiting for help. I layed down and wedged myself between his front paws, feeling comfprt in his embrace. I knew he wasn't gone yet, but I didn't know for how long.

Echo looked lovingly at Flame, then noticed him looking around. "There's something wrong, isn't there?" Echo frowned as se asked. "Did I do something wrong?" Echo hung her head down and stared blankly at his paws.

Realizing Rakish was talking to no one, as Dustin wasn't there, he turned back to head to the den with Sasha. Hearing Brook's howl--one for help--he grabbed a satchel of herbs and raced out of the clearing into her direction.

I laid there, listening to Tyler's steady heart beat and the woods around me. I prayed there wasn't anything out here.

I opened my eyes to see green grass everywhere. I lifted my head and looked around to see wolves and pups everywhere. They were so happy and smiling. There were rolling plains from miles to miles that you could see. I stood up and felt my neck to feel no whole. So if i wasnt with Brook then i must be... dead. The thought hit me hard and my heart broke but then i felt happy and was smiling once more. I knew where i was though... i was in the place where every wolf went when the wolf has passed. I looked around and spotted a white wolf with a black wolf and three pups running around them. Then they stared at me and walked over. They finally stood infront of me and the white wolf was a female and the back wolf was a male and then two of the pups were girls and one was a boy. The black wolf looked like me alot. And then i looked at the white wolf who was staring me down and had tears forming in her eyes. When i looked into her eyes it reminded me of mine because her's was a bright blood red also."My son... You've returned to me" She said hugging my fiercely. I couldn't believe what i had heard from the female wolf. She was my mother... no wonder why didnt i remember... it had been so long."Mother? Why are you here? Are you alive?", I said quickly. She laughed and then pulled me away from my father and my brother and sisters."My son you know why i am here... i am no longer alive and neither are you... we both know the ways of life and yours came to an end... i know it is hard to take in but you will get used to it", She said with a smile. I smiled at first and then frowned saying "I would love to stay here but there is a wolf that needs me because we are mates... i will miss her dearly... i just cant think about not living here without her by my side..." I stared at the ground and my mother lifted my head up with her paw staring me in the eyes saying "True love lasts forever... so in your favor i will help you my son but only this once i can do this... if it happens again you will live here for eternity ... every wolf has one chance to save a life and i haven't used mine yet so i will bring you back to earth... i will heal your wound and refresh your energy so you may be with your mate... just remember that we will always love you and will wait for you here..." I stared at her with a huge grin on my face and said "Thank you mother but i have a question.... can i meet my brothers and sisters i never got to meet and can i meet my father that i look so much like?" She nodded her head towards them and i ran to my father and hugged him tightly."My son... it is finally good to meet you while you were grown", He said with a smile as i released him from the gripping hug. I spied my siblings and laid down infront of them saying "Hey guys im your brother... i know you dont know me but just to let you know i loved you guys and i still do... and it was sad growing up alone knowing my whole family was dead... My name is Tyler if you guys dont remember..." A female of white color said "My name is Delta... the other female is Tara and the boy is Alpha" She had a smile on her face the whole time."Well it is finally time i get to know your names... I couldn't remember them because it has been so long... you know you guys have a sister in law... Her name is Brook... if you guys could meet her you would love her i swear you would...", I said with a smile. Then Alpha spoke up saying "Are you going to stay here with us Tyler of are you going to go back to Brook?" "Well buddy i cant stay here Brook would be heart broken and i will be back someday i promise i wouldn't go anywhere else that i knew about...", I said with a smile standing up. I walked back over to my mother and then she said "I love you Tyler... Good luck going back to be with Brook..." She licked my head and motioned for me to walk with her. As we walked i looked back to my father and siblings watching them fade as we walked further away from them. Then i was walking in a forest with my mother by my side. We walked to where my still body was laying and Brook was there crying. We walked to stand over my body and my mother said "So this is Brook... She is a young female and a pretty one too... good luck my son i love you i will stay to make sure you make it fine in your body... i will heal your wounds and then i will fade away. I smiled at my mother hugged her and walked back into my body that was starting to go cold. I suddenly felt my body lunge with life and i breathed in heavily. I felt my neck heal and i felt strength in my body along with energy. I felt Brook in my arms and i squeezed her tightly and said "Brook... im back and im not leaving again for a long time i promise..." I hugged her not wanting to let go and i looked to see my mom whispering in her ear. Then she looked at me smiled and faded away. I didnt care what i mother had said to Brook i was just happy to be alive once more with my love in my arms hold.

Rakish ran up to Brook and saw Tyler lying on the floor. "What happened?" Rakish asked before seeing the blood seeping from his neck. Grabbing a wad of cobwebs from a tree stump nearby, he reapplied the bandages Brook had put on Tyler after applying a simple poultice of herbs to stop and prevent infection. Stripping some moss from a nearby tree's roots, he shoved them into Brooks paws and demanded, "Go soak those in water. Now!"

"Brook wait! It's healed somehow..." Rakish said confused. He left Brook with some strengthening herbs and ran off in search of Dustin. "Dustin! I need you for a second!" he howled, hoping for the Healer to hear him.

I started as Tyler shuddered back to life and squeezed me. I leaned into his chest and cried some more. I heard a wolf whisper in my ear, but when i turned to look, the wolf wasn't there. I looked at Tyler with tear streaked cheeks and whispered to him. "Never leave me like that again. Promise."

Rakish came and ordered Brook to wet cobwebs but then he hollered for her to stop because he had noticed my neck was healed. Then he ran off for Dustin. I laid there still because it felt like i was heavy full of sand."I promise i will never leave you ever again... you know that was the scariest thing for me. I didnt want to leave you", I said squeezing her once more into me. I didnt want to let her go for a long time.
