She scooted the thrush back over to herself and took a small bite before replying. "I'm good thanks, and so is the clan. I think you would really enjoy life as a warrior, and I would definately enjoy life in the clan more with you around, but it's your choice." She said, hoping that he would decide to join her in Soulclan. "How are things here? Anything new?"

"It's the same old thing. I sleep, wake up, hunt a little, pile up some fresh-kill for a rainy day, practice fighting moves, wait for you to visit." Ryou replied, smiling.

She smiled back at him, finishing off her thrush, neatly piling the bones on her other side. She turned to him, her eyes serious. "I really want you to think about joining SoulClan, Ryou." She said earnestly. "We're eventually going to get caught in our secret meetings, and then what will happen? I know I'll just return to camp with extra work, but what about you? You'd be run out of the territory, and I don't know what I'd do if you were gone." Her eyes were now filled with worry for her best friend.

"Well," Ryou was thoughtful. "From what I've heard about Soulstar, he seems fair enough. He wouldn't run me out of the territory. Soulstar seems kind and fair and caring and I doubt he'd run out a friend of one of his warriors. Sure, he may me a little surprised and uncertain, but I doubt he'd run me out."

She sighed. "I know, he wouldn't do something like that. I'm just worried about you out here. You're my best friend, you know that right?" She asked, already knowing the answer.

[not here sorry!]

"Good catch," Cherrypaw purred to Eaglepaw. "Should we get back to the camp?" She padded to the direction of their clan,and smiled blissfully at him.

"Yes, of course," Ryou replied evenly. "And maybe I'll visit you. It would give me a chance to see just what Clan life exactly is."

Personality: She's gruff and sullen, and quite unpredictable. It's very hard to make Bearheart laugh, but she has a huge amount of respect for her leader and medicine cat. She is overprotective of the apprentices, which vilifies her in their eyes as she can be hen-pecking and annoy them.
History: Bearheart once had a mate and kits, but they her mate was bitten by a rabid fox and began to loose his sanity. He killed their kits, then fled, and fell off a precipice and into a river. Bearheart was devastated.

"Excuse me, Iceflare. It was nice going on a walk with you, but I need to get back to camp. I do have a Clan to watch over." Soulstar chuckled a little, it was kind of forced. Trotting back to camp, Soulstar curled up and took a nap.

There was a great, deep roaring noise. A bear. A bear was in Soul Clan's camp! Soulstar leapt to his paws, except then he realized that he couldn't move. The bear was in the camp, and it was brown with black streaks in its fur. It was roaring and grunting and snarling angrily. There were hawks and eagles trying to dive-bomb the cats below in the camp. Kits were wailing and the apprentices were frightened. He could see his loyal warriors yowling abuse at the hawks and eagles. The bear was protecting the camp, driving away the eagles and the hawks. The birds were kept at bay by the heroic bear, and the camp was safe. The bear eventually held off the eagles and the hawks for so long that they gave up and flew away. The camp was safe because of the bear. Bear was protecting the camp. The bear's chest glowed. It glowed and glowed until it was so bright it battled the Sun. The bear's heart was pure. Bear... Heart... Bearheart would be the new deputy.

Soulstar woke up with a start from his dream that Star Clan had sent him. He leapt on top of the Highrock and yowled out, ""Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a Clan meeting." He waited until all of the cats were present until he continued, "I have been sent a dream from Star Clan. They have decided on the new deputy. The time has come to appoint a new deputy. I say these words before Star Clan, that the spirits of our ancestors may hear and approve my choice. Bearheart will be the new deputy."

She hid her disappointement with a small laugh, knowing that he could see right through it. "Yes, I suppose that'd be fine. Great, actually. Besides, I'd hate hearing your camplaint every time the weather got cold, or you were hungry." She teased him playfully, knowing he was a tough tom, and would do such things.

Eaglepaw

He nodded. "Yeah probably." He said, returning her smile, now slightly nervous. He headed in the direction of camp, with the pretty, young she-cat by his side.
