Iceflare shuddered as another wave of uncertainty overcame her, and, without warning, she collapsed onto the ground, her paws visibly trembling. Her eyes burned dully, like a vicious bonfire that had dulled out and used up all it's energy, and was now just a few simmering coals. Knowing she had to calm down or have an anxiety, she sucked in a breathed, and held it. And held it. She held her breath until her throat clenched tightly and her heart seemed to freeze up, and her vision became blurry. She exhaled loudly, her chest burning but her heartbeat fairly slow now.
Catching her breath, she flicked her ears irritably, scolding herself for being so weak, growling deep in her throat. It was stupid. It had been a dream. Nothing but a dream, and dreams couldn't hurt you. She laid her head on her paws, scoffing softly, just about to relax when a soft snap made her jump, letting her know she was not alone. Raising her head and narrowing her eyes, her voice rang out through the near-empty ring of bushes.
"Who's there?"

Loki had to bite back a frustrated hiss, amazed at his own carelessness as his paw trod upon a tiny twig. Upon hearing Iceflare's voice, he froze up, trying to stay as silent as possible, his whiskers quivering in his attempt to keep every muscle still. Unfortunately, the cat he had heard was obviously a bit suspicious, and he heard her get to her paws, edgy forward slowly.
Knowing he would have to acted fast, Loki swiveled his ears, pinpointing where the paw-steps were coming from, turned quietly, facing them, and then launched himself forward. He heard a startled yowl a second before his outstretched claws raked lightly across a thin she-cat's shoulder, and, then, somehow, (even if he didn't have any tail to keep him balanced) managed to twirl in midair, land on all fours, and shoot off in the other direction in great, bounding strides, ill-advised that he was heading straight into an entire clan of cats.
