Before Cherrypaw could do the front paw blow,she looked at Ryou and bristled her fur. "Soulstar...?" she meowed,looking at the loner. She took a step back,knowing she couldn't disturb them.

"This is Ryou, young apprentice." Soulstar replied calmly. "I have seen this cat in dreams sent from Thornclaw. I deem this cat to be trustworthy." His eyes were level and easy-going, and his voice unwavering. Ryou dipped his head to Cherrypaw and asked, "How are you doing?"

Cherrypaw nodded to her mentor and faced Ryou. She smiled at him and purred "Good,how about you?" Her green eyes were once again calm,and she took a few pawsteps toward them.

Soulstar dipped his head to Ryou and said, "Help yourself to some prey. There is plenty for everyone, and I was planning to go hunting with my apprentice later in the day." Ryou dipped his head in return and smiled gratefully, thanking the leader.

If it was, then please don't say anything else about the prophecy because 1: I would like to wait until there are more RP'ers before a prophecy. 2: I didn't approve of your prophecy yet. If it wasn't a prophecy and just a random dream, then that's alright.))

[[ Sorry. :T I assumed that, because my first character was accepted, I was free to make another one (I should be glad he hasn't interacted with anyone quite yet so it doesn't matter if I have to get rid of him, I suppose). Excuse me for guessing incorrectly. And no, it was not my idea of starting a prophecy, though the dream may have appear rather whimsical. Iceflare just had a rather frightening dream that reminded her of part of her past I purposefully left out of her history.

She relaxed, knowing that the StarClan cat had gone, and returned her attention back to Ryou. She smiled, as she saw he was gathering a crowd. She walked over to them, sitting next to Ryou, her eyes bright as she wrapped her tail around her paws, her fur brushing his side. Her eyes fixed on Cherrypaw, and she grinned at the young apprentice. "So, Cherrypaw, would you like to know how Ryou and I met each other?" She knew the story would entertail the apprentice, and she wondered if SoulStar had told the apprentice about her and Ryou's deep friendship.

Cherrypaw turned around to see Smokeyeye and her face lit up. "Yes,please!" she purred. The young apprentice loved to hear stories,and sat down. Her tail flicked as she waited Smokeyeye to start her story.

The she-cat nodded, smiling at the young cat's enthusiasm. "Alright, well...."

"I was an apprentice back then, wandering the forest, nothing to do. I had been sent out to hunt, but had been distracted by a butterfly, and had chased it far from camp. I had ran after it, and was tired from my run, so I stumbled into a small clearing which was on the edge of a wall of ferns. It looked nice and sheltered, so I layed down on the bed of moss, closing my eyes. I knew I couldn't sleep, just needed to rest my body, as there was supposed to be hunting later on that day. I stretched my heard back in a yawn, openeing my eyes for a quick second, and... There he was."

She flicked her tail happilly at Ryou, glad that she could share their past, and good timed together.

"There was a young tom standing above me." She continued. "He was about my age, and a handsome young tom.
She flicked his ear teasingly. "He had startled me, so I backed up, with a yowl of astonishement. We talked from dawn till dusk, never stopping until I knew I had to go back to camp. We shared everything about our lives with each other. At the end of the day he knew everything there was to know about clan life, and I had learned all of the advantages and disadvantages to being a loner. It was strange how we trusted each other, complete strangers, from two different worlds. But, I dunno. He's my best friend now, and I suppose that's all that counts."

Her eyes grew soft for a moment, a thoughtful gleam hidden in their depths, but it only corssed her face for a moment, before she went back to a gentle smile.

Cherrypaw smiled. She thought it was an intresting and great story. "That's amazing! A butterfly led you to Ryou. Who's now your friend," she purred in amusement. She looked at Ryou and back at Smokeyeye,with a smile.

Ryou grinned at Cherrypaw and Smokeyeye and trotted over to the fresh-kill pile, choosing a small vole. He wasn't that hungry, but he didn't want to appear rude, so he chose the smallest prey in the pile. He took a small bite, appreciating the camp and the nice defenses. The thorn barrier was nice and strong, and appeared fully intact. The dens were nice and cozy and were nice and neat. He was seriously considering moving into the Clan permanently.
