Fire And Water - Warrior Cats (Private)

Snowflake twined her tail lovingly to Snatcher's, hoping that the warriors wouldn't mind. She felt uncomfortable as Lucius yowled out and seemed rather surprised about it. She shivered slightly, fearing that the cats wouldn't accept that they were together after all. At worst, they could loose their respect to him.

Dapple flicked her tail angrily at Lucius, angered that he had reacted like that, but she had to admit she was rather surprised herself. "Congratulations." she purred, attempting to not sound too shocked, but instead happy for them.

Snowflake felt relief as Dapple congratulated them, happy that at least one of the cats was happy for them. She detected a slight suprise and shock in her voice though, but dipped her head gratefully to the she-cat. She didn't know Dapple, and she didn't know Lucius very well either. She thought of the ranking system, and soon figured out that she was probably at a lower rank than at least Lucius, but she was certain that Dapple was at a lower rank than she was. Snowflake then thought of what the future would bring, now that they had told the warriors. Would they respect her, or spit at her?

Littlestreak's eyes glowed warmly. "Congratulation Snatcher, Snowflake." She turned to glare at Lucius. Stupid tom.

Lucius looked at his paws. "Sorry." Then he looked up. "I hope your kits are well afer bringing that rogue in."

Snatcher listened to the conversation. "The kits are fine. They were kept out of the way." He told the tom. "That was all. You may go, but don't tell any other cat."

Snowflake purred and smiled at Littlestreak, and nodded to Lucius, understanding his surprise. It wasn't everyday you would see one of the greatest leaders with a mate who is expecting kits. She let Snatcher answer the questions for her, tired and ready to take a good, long nap.

Dapple dipped her head to their noble leader, smiling gently. Deep down, she wished she could be in Snowflake' position, having kits and a mate. She shuddered, but pushed the idea off her mind as she walked out of Snatcher' den. She walked straight back to the Warriors den. It was already dark, so she wouldn't get any more time cuddling outside in the sun. Anyway, she would do it tomorrow. She sighed and curled up in the den, attempting to fall asleep.

Lucius dipped his head to to his leader and his mate, padding out of the den. The young tom's pale golden pelt flowed around him as he trotted through the clearing, the light dappled onto his pelt from the shadows of the leaves. He entered the den quickly, heading to his nest. He lay down in it on his side, purring lightly. It was a good job that his nest, and all the higer ranking cats, had their nests in the center of he den.

Littlestreak turned, wavingher tail in farewell as she exited the den, quickly stopping by the fresh-kill pile to get something small to eat. She ate it in a few famished gulps, then bounded to her den and stepped over her clanmats, curling up in ehr nest, her tail over her nose.

Snatcher watched them go and lay next to his mate, his tail touching her stomach. It was hard to believe that there was life growing in his mate, and they woul be born in a matter of moons. "Does it feel weird?" He asked.

Snowflake smiled, but hesitated at answering. "At times, it does... It's a fierce pain now and then, but it usually fades." she said calmly, trying to not make it sound too terrible. After all, what did a tom know of this? She should know something about this by instinct. She shuddered as she thought of the birth, immagining the pain that would last for such a long time... She had heard of cats who had to wait a whole day waiting for their kits to be born!

[Keriae]

Snatcher gazed at her stomach once more. "You'll be fine. I know you will." He murmered. He lay his head on his paws, closing his eyes, waiting for sleep to come.

Snowflake sighed and purred. "I hope so..." she whispered low to herself before she licked Snatcher' head and laid her own close by his, attempting to fall asleep. Soon she did, and she enjoyed the dreams about the future.

Scar tucked his tail around his body, making sure no cat could stomp at it. One night, he had went to sleep early, and when all the cats had returned to sleep as well, they had stepped on it as they passed him. He shivered, but didn't think a lot more of it as he fell asleep, dreaming that he was the clan ruler.

Swift lay beside Scar at the edge of the den, shivering slightly. Her black patched pelt was dull and matted, and her pelt showed signs of being mistreated, some wounds still bleeding and others with tried, crusty blood. She sneezed and tried to curl up tighter, her wounds stinging fiercely.

Scar woke up as he heard slight shivers and sneezes, looking to his side he spotted a she-cat. What was her name... Swift, that's it. "Swift?" he whispered low, trying to not wake up the other cats. "Are you alright? You certainly don't look like you are..." he said, looking at her for a while. He hesitated a bit, but soon leaned forward and began licking at her bleeding wounds.

Swift looked up, her eyes swollen. "I'm fine Scar. I real-" She broke of, sneezing. "Please, just leave me be. I'll get better." It was true; she always got better. Only because she knew some herbs, but it was too late now, and she couldn't sneak out.
