Littlestreak skidded to a haltbeside Scar, and grabbed the squirrel at the back of it's neck, helping to kill it.

Lucius saw her flinch and looked at her. "You should let Hawk take a look at you." He adviced, not wanting her to get hurt. Something might be wrong. He reflected to himself, not wanting to voice his fears.

Scar smiled as the squirrel went all limp. He was laying at his back, the squirrel covering parts of him. He looked up at Littlestreak and purred slightly, watching her carefully.

Narcissa shrugged. "Maybe. Were is she, anyway?" she asked and glanced around, searching the den for the medicine cat. She hadn't seen Hawk in a while, which worried her a bit. The pain grew worser and soon she gritted her teeth painfully. She crouched to the ground, wishing that the pains would dissapear and leave her alone.

Littlestreak smiled. "Well, we've caught something, at least." She remarked. "Where should we bury it?" She didn't want it to be taken by foxes or anything.

Hawk, hearing her name, stepped out from deep in her herb stores. Her eyes widened when she saw Narcissa, and she rushed forwards, crouching beside the she-cat "Narcissa, tell me what's wrong. I can't tell you what's wrong unless you tell me what's going on."

Scar smiled back and got up. "Maybe over here, it will be hard finding it there if you don't know where to search." he said and pointed towards underneath a tree, which would probably seem like an unlikely place to hide away food.

Narcissa attempted to straighten up, but closed her eyes instead and held her breath for a while. When she let go she managed to talk a bit as well and looked at Hawk. "My belly hurts..." she whispered and glanced at Lucius for a while before she looked back at Hawk.

Littlestreak nodded. "If we hide it under a root, it'll be harder for a fox or badger to scent it." She said, picking it up and bounding to the spot, quickly starting to dig a shallow hole.

Hawk nodded. "I need you to lay on your side." She ordered, watching her clanmate.

Scar smiled and nodded, then sat down and tucked his tail around his paws. He sat there, just watching her dig the hole. He wouldn't be able to help anyway, as he would just be in the way.

Narcissa nodded and obeyed, but shrunk together at the pain she got. It felt like her whole body was screaming for her to not move at all. Sighing she got down and relaxed, her tail flicking slightly. The wound she had got during the battle got visible as a long, red streak with a couple of scratches here and there. She closed her eyes, for she didn't have enough energy left to keep them open.

Hawk glanced at the wound. Sh wouldn't need cobwebs to stop the bleeding, but she'd need them to keep the poultices in place. "Lucius, keep her awake and calm." She ordered, retreating into her den to collect some herbs to use.

Lucius leaned forwards and touched his nose to Narcissa's ear. "Hush. Take deep breaths." He whispered soothingly, and licked the fur between her ears.

Hawk returned, herbs in her jaws. Without a word, she began chewing them. No need to mention what they were. Carefully, she put the paste on a leaf and dabbed her paw in it. "Now, this is going to sting a little." She murmered, and rub the mush on the wound, while her other paw checked the she-cat's slightly swollen stomach. She was having kits. But from thepain, it looked like something bad was happening to the kits. Oh, she dreaded to tell them both.

Narcissa sighed and shrugged slightly, trying to breathe calmly. She opened her eyes and watched Lucius, her gaze blank. As the poultice was added to her wound she gritted her teeth and wanted to snap at Hawk, but kept quietly in place. Instead she held her breth, hoping it would keep the pain away. "What is wrong... Hawk?" she whispered, watching the medicine cat closely.

Hawk sighed, and didn't mean to queen's gaze. Well, she was a queen now. "You're having kits, but I think the battle has...... Disrupted them." She told her. "I want you to stay here overnight, and you can go to the nursery tomorow."

Narcissa shivered and watched Hawk, her gaze not leaving the cat one second. "Disrupted..?" she said low and looked away, not wanting to meet Lucius nor Hawk's gaze. Silently she laid her head on her paws, lost in her own world. Her kits was damaged? She held her breath as she thought of their lives. What if she was going to cause them pain by letting them grow up? While in her thoughts she forgot to breathe, and soon she began gasping for air like a fish at land. When she had got back her breath she looked at Lucius, as if she wanted to say sorry because of what she had done to their kits.
