Fire And Water - Warrior Cats (Private)

Snatcher flet a smile tug at his lips, but didn't allow it to happen. He raised his tail once more. "Now, we need some fresh-kill. I want two patrols to go out, with a mixture of ranks. We need food after a battle to remain strong. That is all." He walked away, disappearing into his den.

Mackrel looked at her brother, her eyes dull from the death of their mother. "Should we go?" She asked, her body shaking in excitment and exhaustion.

Littlestreak got to her paws, glad that he meeting was over. She scanned the crowd for Scar, hoping to find him quickly.

Thorn nodded and turned his gaze to his sister. "Sure." he said cheerfully, not really showing in his eyes and voice that he was still grieving. It would be no good thinking about it, as it would only weaken him in battle and during hunts. "Maybe Scar and Littlestreak will join us? Then we would have created the first patrol already." he said and looked over at Littlestreak.

Scar soon saw Littlestreak and purred. "Hello. Are you alright?" he asked and watched her carefully, his tailtip twitching a bit. He kept glancing around a bit nervously, hoping Swift wouldn't be angry at him. Which of the two she-cats did he love more? He wasn't sure right now, and he didn't bother thinking too much about it either.

Narcissa went to the medicine den and sniffed a few times, searching for Lucius's scent. "Lucius? Are you awake?" she whispered, blinking a couple of times to adjust to the darker den.

Mackrel nodded weakly. She looked around for the two cats, noticing that they were sitting together. But, with ehr mind numb with grief, nothing really registered about what they were doing together.

Littlestreak purred warmly, but quietly. "I'm fine." She told him, wishing she could edge closer and press her pelt against his. But she couldn't. Not yet.

Lucius had been in a very light sleep. He lifted his head, wincing at the pain. He was a strong warrior! He shouldn't be fazed by this. His opened his mouth. "Narcissa? Is that you?" He rasped, hating the fact he looked, sounded and felt so weak.

Thorn smiled. "Don't worry. Our mother is proud of us, even though she's not here. Who knows, maybe it's like the other clans says. That she lives in the stars, in a new clan." he said and glanced at Littlestreak and Scar. He didn't know if the stories about StarClan cats was true, or just a rumour that was made up in order to make the clan work peacefully. He didn't care, really. He got up and walked over to them. "Want to join me and Mackrel on a patrol?" he asked.

Scar was about to say something to Littlestreak, but fell silent as Thorn appeared. "Sure, I don't mind. What about you, Littlestreak?" he asked quietly, looking at her.

Narcissa ran over to where she had heard Lucius and sat down by his side. "Oh, Lucius. Are you alright?" she asked, and licked his cheek carefully. She was afraid of hurting him somehow, as he seemed rather weak.

Mackrel followed her brother slowly, looking at the two older SkullClan cats. She hadn't been to see Hawk after the battle, so her white paws were stained pnk with blood, and sh was covered in dirt, but she couldn't care less.

Littlestreak nodded. "Okay then. We might as well." she stood up, shaking her pelt. The small she-cat couldn't believe that in a matter of hours she had nearly fought her love, confessed her love, and he had joined her Clan..... It just seemed too much to happen in one day.

Lucius purred weakly, relishing her warm pelt against his own. His limbs ached, and he winced when he move a leg to get more comfortable. "I'm fine. I want to kill the cat that did this to me." He vowed, his eyes glowing angrily.

Thorn smiled. "Alright then, lets go." he said shortly, turning around quickly and beginning the walk out towards the forest. He wasn't sure who was in lead, but surely one of the cats would go first, or he would lead the group himself. He smiled. He wanted to lead the group, for once. He supposed he wouldn't get to do it though, as he was only newly made a full warrior of the clan.

Scar smiled to Littlestreak. He began walking, touching her shoulder lightly with the tip of his tail. Silently, without saying anything at all he followed Thorn towards the forest, expecting the she-cats to come after them.

Narcissa smiled slightly, but her eyes bore a great sorrow. "I think the cat who did this to you are dead." she said silently, not mentioning that some ThunderClan cats had joined the clan. Who knew, maybe one of them was exactly that cat? She couldn't imagine what it would be like if the cats recognized each other. She shrugged but kept grooming Lucius's fur carefully.

Mackrel walked after her brother quickly, her paws just dragging on the ground. She ducked her head as she entered the forest, knowing that her mother would want her to be happy, although she didn't think she could manage it.

Littlestreak stiffled a purr, knowing this wasn't the time. She longed to brush her pelt against his, feel the warmth against her flank.......

Lucius' eyes grew serious. "I hope he is. I didn't get a good look, but if they're alive, they better keep they're eyes out for me." He vowed, and closed his eyes slightly in pure bliss. He was alive and well, and so was Narcissa.

Thorn walked at the front still, his tail flicking eagerly. It had been a while since he had been out on a border patrol, so this sure sounded exciting. He sped up a little, and perked his ears as he entered the forest, listening for any sounds. He turned to look at the other cats, waiting for them to come. Scar soon passed him, dipping his head and smiling slightly, then disspeared in the bushes. Thorn waited for Littlestreak and Mackrel, not wanting to leave them behind.

Narcissa smiled. "Don't worry about it. Rest now, then we can discuss more about it later." she said silently and licked the tip of his ear, then at his cheek. She smiled and dipped her head. "I will see you later." she said, then turned and went out from the den, the sun blinding her for a moment. Her dappled fur coat was still stained with blood, gaining a dark red color to her paws and chest. She began grooming it away, then she suddenly noticed a wound she had never seen before on her belly. She examined it, and decided it was nothing important.

((Just wondering if Narcissa can come back and tell Lucius that she's having kits, and actually fought with them at the battle? I thought there might be two, but one of them would be born dead as a result from Narcissa's injuries...))

Mackrel stopped beside her brother, looking at the forest. "Do you think Mother woul be proud of us?" She asked, half to herself, not meeting her brother's eyes.

Littlestreak nodded to the newer warriors as she passed them, her mind still on the thought of Scar's fur against her own. She noticed the tom a little way in front of her, and tried to resist the urge to run at him, touch his pelt with her own.

Lucius nodded and watched her go and lay his head on his paws, knowing his pelt was still sticky with drying blood, his own and his enemies, but in his current state, all he wanted to do was sleep. So he closed his eyes, drifting off.

Thorn nodded to his sister. "Of course, why would you think she wasn't?" he asked, shrugging slightly. He didn't say anything else and followed Littlestreak and Scar through the forest, his paws lightly touching the forest floor.

Scar turned to see Littlestreak and smiled, waiting until she caught up with him. Then he smiled and walked by her side, his fur brushing hers slightly. He made sure that it looked like they were normal clanmates though, and that they were simply walking side by side.

Narcissa felt hunger and she felt drowsy and she wasn't really up to do anything today. She yawned and went to the fresh-kill pile, picking a mouse from the pile. She then made her way to the warrior den and sat down, eating at the mouse. When she was finished with it, she got up and went inside the den, flopping down on her side. A terrible pain went up her belly and she let out a small cry, then shut her mouth. She wouldn't show pain. The wound, it had probably opened again. She looked at it, but it wasn't bleeding. Mystified she laid her head on the ground and fell asleep.
