"So, do you have an owner?" Dawn asked, trying to start a conversation.

Trixie shook her head "No...I don't. But I want one" she said, blue eyes gazing at her then forward

"Same here." the Arab replied, shaking her mane a little.

Nicole Lead hugo back into the barn. She washed him down and lead him back towards the Pasture. she patted his neck and opened the gate, letting the bay quarter horse stallion loose. she whistled for Calypso and clipped her Halter on when she came over. she lead the mare out and closed the gate, turning towards the barn.

Hugo snorted nad flicked his tail. he lowered his head and began to graze.

"Same here." the Arab replied, shaking her mane a little.

Trixie nodded "It'd be nice to have an owner. Grooms barley pay attention to me. I rarely get fed and groomed.." she snorted softly, shaking her thin and jittery flank

"I know what you mean." she replied, shaking her mane.

Tatiana petted Haji as she came by and quietly unlocked his stall and went in. The paso snorted as he was removed from his stall and taken to the crossties. There was a slight chill to the air, a welcome feeling compared to the brutal heat they had been experiencing. Tatiana brushed down Haji and went to go get her dressage tack. It was oiled and clean as she slipped it on his back and fastened the girth good and tight. Haji snorted, arching his neck. He was ready to work. Tatiana hoisted herself up into the saddle and her mount moved underneath her.

"Come on Haji," the woman cooed, turning him around and trotting to the dressage ring. As she went along, Tatiana noticed the jumps. They looked formidable, for she hadn't jumped in a very long time. Yet, all her other riders made it look easy. Tatiana cocked her head to the side, then made Haji face the obstacles. The horse snorted, but didn't disobey. A slight squeeze with her legs and they started at a slow trot around the course.

Haji snorted, taking deeper breaths as his trot switched to a smooth canter. Horse and rider circled around the jumps, looking for an advantage. Haji's blue eyes stared ahead. His ears flicked back, hearing the sigh of nervousness coming from Tatiana. She was unsure.

The woman didn't want to back away from her self imposed challenge, but she didn't want to do something stupid and possible kill her horse. Haji nickered, almost as if to say we can do it. Tatiana nodded and straightened her posture, steering Haji towards the first jump. Her heart jumped to her throat as they went towards it. For a moment, everything seemed to go silent, just the sound of her blood rushing, the thud of Haji's hooves, and his heavy breathing being the only sounds in the world.

The stallion pushed off the ground, tucking his legs under him as he leaped over the jump and landed gracefully on the other side. Tatiana felt the adrenaline rushing and she grinned.

As Rin and Len rode back towards the stables, Rin spotted Tatiana going over a jump with Haji and blinked. She shouldnt be jumping with dressage tack on. she thought, blinking.

Tatiana slowed Haji down to a walk. She felt good about clearing the jump. It had been a very long time since she had conquered the poles, and Haji wasn't even her main jumper. Sesshomaru had been her flier, but she knew he wasn't very keen on the sport. Tatiana felt eyes on her and she turned, seeing Rin. The woman smiled and waved.
