Skunk fell asleep in Silent's long fur, purring.

Lynxkit looked over at Ivy and skunk before she too fell asleep, in the big cat's long flowing fur. And she dreamed. She dreamed she was a lynx. A large lynx just like Silent. And that wherever she went nothing ever went wrong with her fur, being too long, or her paws burning. No she was happy and her paws felt cool. she purred in her dreams and nuzzled Silent.

Silent licked the three tired kits and fell asleep, his huge head covering them from the light bursting into the den.

[ki-neko animura]

"i am small. only a little bit bigger than the kits. If we can find a hole i can squeeze in and get her out." he mewed. he was scared to death. but this was a kit he was going to save.

[bows over bros;]

Skunk snored loudly, then woke up, laughing.

Earthstorm shook his head. "No it's too risky, if the Lynx is in there, it'll scent you for sure. We don't know what it is doing to thoes kits. We need to ambush the Lynx and outnumber it. Then you and Duskpaw, since you are the smallest and have had no training, will get Lynxkit." He mewed, making up a plan. He glanced over at Skyleaf, wondering how she thought of the plan. She was the patrol leader after all. "And we can ask FeatherStar if we can sleep in the MarshClan camp instead of sleeping out in the cold. Maybe they might help us rescue Lynxkit too." As much as Earthstorm didn't want to, he knew it was nessisary. If they went to the MarshClan camp, there was no way he could avoid Orangewing.

Duskpaw groaned. She wanted to fight the Lynx but she saw Earthstorm's reasoning. If only I had been able to do the sparring today, then maybe I would be aloud to fight.

"the lynx probably isn't in there. it is probably out gaurding the cave." he mewed. "if Duskpaw and i find a hole in the back we can make it! i know we can." he mewed. "and we have some training."

[bows over bros;]

Skunk heard the clan cats, scared, she poked Silent, "Da- Silent! They wanna kill you, then they wanna take Lynx! We can't let them do it! Come on, get up!!" She screeched.

[Shiverice]

"Oh no! They can't kill Silent!" Ivy meowed in a terrified voice.

[bows over bros;]

"I have to stop them." Skunk said, determined, she walked out of the den. She saw all the clan cats, her eyes widened with fear, but she kept it in. "Y-Y-Y-You guys can't t-t-take Lynx, s-s-s-she doesn't want to go back. And you g-g-g-guys can't k-k-k-kill Silent." Skunk mewed. "He's the only thing to protect us."

[Shiverice]

Ivy walked outside with Skunk. "Please don't hurt us! Silent is the only thing to take care of us! Don't take Lynx!" she cried.
