History: Ripple joined the herd at a young age with his mother, who was a loner for quite some time. She died not long after, leaving him with no real family, but still with the Summer herd.

Personality: Azalanda is a big flirt but hardly ever means anything from it. A tease, a rule-breaker, and an adventurer, Aza is often a synonym for trouble.
History: Born and raised in Fall herd, Aza is fairly loyal but despise the Winter herd, despite being allies with them. Sometimes she wishes for more freedom, like the mares of the Spring herd.

Personality: Glory is incredibly loyal and can be really protective of her herd. She likes the foals, and will try and be friendly to everyone in the herd.
History: Born in the herd and raised with her older brother, Glory was a very happy youngster. Then the trouble with Winter herd started, and Glory lost her brother to them. At first they thought he was killed, but then he was spotted with the Winter herd. She still hangs on to the belief that he was frightened and joined out of a bit of fear, but she’s never been sure. If she were to be able to talk to him again, she would tell him how much he is missed and ask him why he left them.

Name: Torrent
Age: 6
Gender: stallion
Appearance: Click!Beauty: 1
Strength: 5

Personality: Torrent is more of a sidekick of the Winter herd, a minion. He dislikes foals as he never knows what to make of them, and so has no interest in breeding at all. He’s more of the fighter, the guardian of the herd. Deep down inside, he isn’t really evil, just a bit of a coward.
History: He wandered as a loner for several years after being abandoned by his family (actually he got lost, but he thinks he was abandoned.) The Winter herd was the first he met, and he joined without a second thought. They sort of brainwashed him, made him believe that they were good.

Other:I would like to Apply!Name: Zurala
Power: If she can make eye contact with another horse, she can temporaily wipe all thoughts from their minds, leaving them standing confused and dumbfounded for several minutes. After a few minutes, however, they will be able to slowly remember what’s happening and can regain their thoughts.
Personality: Zurala has a very dry sense of humour, and often acts as if she is quite bored. She takes her job seriously, and would never consider leaving. She cares deeply about the other Nightmares, even if it may not seem like it, and that is why she sometimes gets so furious if they talk of leaving. She knows that if they do, the river spirit could easily kill them. Zurala is not very fond of other horses, especially those from the Winter herd. Even though the Nightmares are stronger and faster, the Winter horses can still be a bit of a threat and are a major nuisance.
In Character Example: Zurala stood by the edge of the river, watching for the fish that very rarely appeared. For a reason unknown to her, not very many fish lived in the river. Maybe it was because of the river spirit, or maybe for another reason. She watched as several floating leaves got slowing sucked under the water by a small whirlpool a few feet in front of her. The river was lazy today, not the usual fast moving torrent that is on other days.
The other Nightmares grazed quietly a ways away and slightly behind Zurala, but other than them there no other horses in sight. Good. She thought. She really wasn’t in the mood to fight off some foolish stallion from drinking from the water, or deal with a mare from a herd that would come crying for help. It seemed that many of the other horses just assumed that because the Nightmares were fast and strong, they would be able to get their help to solve every little problem. That was not the case. The Nightmares had one job- to guard the river. That was the sole purpose for their creation.
Zurala sighed and turned away from the river. Slowly she headed back to the other Nightmares and began grazing, still deep in thought. Just a few years ago everything had still been peaceful, the four herds hadn't been at war like they were now. The Nightmare's life had been much more relaxed, enjoyable and easier. Now, there was constant interuptions and small fights, as well as stallions that just would not leave them alone. Lately, Zurala had started becoming more tired with life on a whole, but she still did her best. The black mare's idea was that the only way it all would end would be if someone won, and not be peace. Even if a treaty was made, it was likely that someone would break. In her opinion, that someone would likely be the Winter herd. They just couldn't be trusted. Hopefully the Spring and Summer herds would win, but nothing was certain.
After some time Zurala finished grazing and went back to the place she was at before, by the river. Again, like before, she stood watching the water.
Snap.
Zurala whirled around to face the forest, where she had heard a snap come from. It sounded like a branch breaking, perhaps from someone stepping on it. But who was the someone?
"Who's there?" Zurala neighed, stepping away from the river and towards the other Nightmares and the forest. "Mares, did you hear that?" She asked them in a quieter voice, so whoever it was wouldn't be able to hear.((Except for Ripples image, which is mine, I own none of these pictures.))
