Star jumped back at the splash. "Ripple! Burr thats cold!" She heard about how good the water was and reached down letting in a big sip of water. She pressed her pelt into him hoping to get some warmth from his pelt. "Its so beautiful tonight.' Star said looking up at the sky which was lit from the setting sun so the clouds turned pink and the sky deep purple.

Ripple shook his mane out, trying not to get Star any wetter. It seemed the mare was more sensitive to cold where as he was more greatly affected by the heat. He let her stand beside him for a few minutes before turning to wade out of the pond. "C'mon, I'll show you a way to dry off." He called to Star to follow him as he walked for a large patch of grass. He stopped for a minute to shake his coat out thoroughly from head to tail. Ripple found a good patch of grass, lay down, and rolled all over. When he stood up he shook once more to rid his coat of stray grass. "See? I'm almost all dry now."

"Oh okay." Star said jumping out of the water then shaking herself off. She lay down in the grass and rolled back and forth. It was a bit hard with her big belly heavy with foal who would be due any day now. She got up and shook once more. "Oh you are right I am almost completly dry now." Star said feeling the heat come back to her fur.

Bone flicked his tail in Odin and Krips direction,the flicked his ears in Skrivens direction."Is that enough or should i explain the reason why you should cover up that heat scent of yours?" he said jokeingly.He chewed another strip of bark,then licked the sap of the snow.It tasted like a sweet popsicle.

Arturo lead her into a thicket of bushes "I wont leave you" he said softly.

Phantom leapt infront of her easily."I noticed you arent exactly the fastest mare in the world,and thats okay,but not in wide open spaces" he said."In thick undergrowth,you have an advantage.You are much more lieth,skinny and swift then bulky,large horses,like Odin for example.You can slide your body easily through bushes" he paused to slink his was quikly throught two dense bracken bushes."Dont foget to hold your tail high like a arab,it might be a little easyer to keep it out of thorns.And keep your ears pinned when you come near lower branches." he paused "Show me how far and high you can jump over things" he said subbenly.

"Thank you,and I love you my sister will be very ahppy for me," She said and smiled.
