Coya nodded and looked forward. She was worried that Demon was upset with her, but she couldn't - wouldn't - change who she was. She will always try and help those that need it, even if it meant it was dangerous for her. She looked down a little as she walked.

Coya nodded and looked back at him, "I know... I'm just so used to doing things that way... I just have to get used to doing thigs differently now."

Demon nodded, "Just promise you won't do anything stupid... I think I would have to jump off a cliff if i woke up tonight and you as well as the kid were missing..."

Coya met his gaze, "I..." she sighed, "I won't do anything stupid, not unless it's our last option. I won't let humans find us, Demon, I won't."

Demon shook his head, "They won't... I didn't let them before, I won't let them now."

Coya nodded, "I know you won't... but I still don't want to chance it. Please, don't be mad at me... I just can't not do anything"

"Coya," Demon said slowly, "I'm going to do the best I can..."

Coya pressed her face to his again, "I know you will. I know..." she sighed, "And I'll help you anyway I can."

The little girl combed her fingers through the fur at the nape of Demon's neck, "Good doggie."
