Demon glared at her, "That's not an option. No one, I repeat no one, is going near the Humans... Lets just- see what we can do. I'm not taking any chances."

[Jaguar's Heart]

Coya sighed, "Alright, it was just an idea." She said, but she knew that if it was the only option then she would do it. If it meant the humans didn't find the pack's home then that's what she would do.

Demon looked back to the trail ahead, "She may not understand, but I'm not letting any wolf in this pack risk their life for hers."

[Jaguar's Heart]

"Demon," Coya said softly, "I think she just wants to be found. I mean, she's seriously attatched to you. Her hand hasn't left your fur once!" She shook her head, "I think she was lonely and scared. I don't think she wants anyone to be hurt."

Demon 's eyes stayed on the path, "Yea, but what will her parrents think? Coya, it's not like she can stop them.... She's just a pup- she wouldn't even know what her parrents did to the wolves... Hell, do you want the innocent child wearing your fur next winter, she wouldn't know." He looked at Coya, "She's not worth that much... I know it's wrong to say.. But I'm not risking it."

[Jaguar's Heart]

Coya met his gaze, "I do understand. I wouldn't want it to be you or Manny either... but I can get closer to them a lot easier then anyone else. I've managed to save manny wolves that way. I can bring their pup back to them just as silently."

Demon gave her a hard angry look, "I'm not letting you go that way. Theres no chance."

[Jaguar's Heart]

"Then what are we going to do?" Coya asked, "Leave her to die? Or will she stay at our camp, waiting for the other humans to find her, and ultimatly us?"

Demon would have growled the words, but he knew the child could hear growls and generally didn't like them, neither did the natives, "Coya, your more important to me than this child, you have to know that..." He took a deep breath, "We need to think this through... I don't want anyone 'walking' her home."

[Jaguar's Heart]

"I know I am," Coya said as she nuzzled his muzzle, "And if there's another way I'll be glad to take it... but I can't chance the humans finding our camp. You know that." She licked his cheek, "I love you, and I want to keep you and our family safe."
