(Someone wants to join the clan in the past page or two, Manestar and Lilacfrost are out in the forest, Mapleshadow was attacked by a fox and is in the medicine cat den, and Darkclaw is writhing in pain in the forest.)

Manestar fell silent. "I used to come here when I was in trouble," he said, not thinking about what he was saying.

Lilacfrost touched her muzzle to his very lightly.
"Manestar, I love you." She whispered.

Manestar purred. "I love you too," he whispered to her. A light breeze ruffled his pelt.

(i still dont understand whats going on with darkclaw, but whatever. xD)

Mapleshadow pads out of the medicine cat den, thanking Hollowtree. She has cobwebs over the cuts on her flank and neck, and she isn't allowed to walk on her front paw for a few days. She pads as best she can to the fresh kill pile and takes a mouse, settling down to eat.

"Then... Are we.. Mates?"
