Rowanheart sighed, closing his eyes. "She was my first love," he rasped, rolling over onto his side. "We were best friends as kits, and then as apprentices... we were more than friends... almost inseperable. I fell inlove with her. When we became warriors, she was Petalfall, and I-" he mewed, cutting off as he took a breath. "I asked her to be my mate.... she said yes. She told me to keep calling her Petalpaw, because she was the same ol' Petalpaw, even though she was a warrior. She was my mate for one sunrise, before she got hit by that monster," he muttered, before sitting up.

Bubbleclaw lowered her gaze from Rowanheart to the ground softly, slightly hurt. "I-I'm sorry." She mewed softly, moving away from just slightly so their pelts werent touching quite so much. "That must have been hard for you." She mewed, blinking rapidly for a moment to keep her eyes dry, and with each blink they became a bit more reserved. Of course he loved another she-cat. He's too good a cat to be alone for so many seasons. She glanced at him, her tail flicking once in curiosity. Does he still love her?

Rowanheart sighed, guessing what Bubbleclaw was thinking. "I do still love her- and I always will, but I have moved on... but, Bubbleclaw... I love you," he murmured, gazing into her eyes. He wondered how she felt- the same, or like he was just a friend. (WB)

Winterwing smiled as she saw Rowanheart over with Bubbleclaw. As she muttered a few words to herself, she slowly padded outside of the camp entrance, smelling the air.It's so nice! she thought with a smile. ((wb))

Bubbleclaw blinked, glancing at Rowanheart. A moment ago, she would have been amazed, and so happy...but now. He just said he still loved Petalfall? Right? But...he loved her. Despite her thoughts, she felt a smile spread over face, and her whiskers flicked with pleasure. "Really?" she purred, gazing at him adoringly, despite her doubts. She guessed that if she felt so lovingly towards him now, even when she wanted to claw at him for not telling her before he had a mate, she really must love him. Otherwise she really would claw off his ears! Gently she lied her tail on his flank happily, not saying anything, just glad he really did love her. No one had before...and it felt like she was finally whole.

((Aww. Actually, I didnt like that. I didnt like how he found Millie, and still loved Silverstream, but to each his own, right?))

{Aww, really? I thought it was okay. Like if someone's husband dies, then they marry someone else after, they still love their first husband, but have moved on and found a new love <3}

Rowanheart smiled at Bubbleclaw, leaning into her touch. He would always love Petalfall, but his heart was for Bubbleclaw. He had finally moved on. He pressed his nose to hers, then glanced at his paws. "Do you love me?" he murmured, shuffling his paws nervously. He hoped she did, because it was hard telling someone he loved them.

Bubbleclaw smiled, pressing her nose to his gently, her silver eyes wide and on his. She smiled slightly as he asked her, looking so nervous, did he even half to ask? "Don't be silly, Rowanheart, of course I do," She purred softly, looking at him, and blushing slightly, though not too much. "Why else would I put up with you all the time?" she joked, smiling at him affectionately.

Rowanheart smiled at Bubbleclaw, then looked at his paws. "Then... will you be my mate?" he murmured, knowing the words were true as he spoke them. My second mate, but my first true mate is Bubbleclaw. I am over Petalpaw, but she will always be with me. He glanced up into her eyes, his nervousment fading away as he purred.

Bubbleclaw felt her heart twist. Kits? Me? Bubbleclaw sighed as she looked into Rowanheart's steady gaze, wondering if he was really right for her. The thought had barely crossed her mind when she dismissed it as rubbish, and smiled at Rowanheart. Purring deeply in her throat, her silver eyes twinkling, she purred, "Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes!" She closed her eyes, and, laughing, licked his ear caringly, her feathered tail brushing over the ground in wonder at who she was now.

Mothwing smiled at Dovesong, glad she took her seriously. "Well, I like both of their personalities... and I like how Duskstorm can make me laugh, and is so funloving, but I like how Stormheart can always make me feel better, no matter what, is so carefree, and has never hurt me," she explained, propping herself up. She managed to smile, but inside she felt torn.

Rowanheart smiled at Bubbleclaw, licking her cheek. "Now we can team up and destroy that pebble!" he laughed, rolling his eyes before cocking his head to the side. I wonder if she ever loved someone before me... "Any dreams lately?" he mused, licking her ear.
