Puddlepaw sat in camp, grooming his deep grey coat, a bit bored. He glanced around for Stormheart..his mentor. At the thought he puffed out his chest a bit. His mentor was deputy to Brookclan! That practically made him royalty, as far as he knew. I wonder if he wished he didnt have me as an apprentice, and some one else, now that he is deputy, he thought, his spirits coming down a bit as he remembered all the times he had missed fish, and been knocked down in battle training. He was pretty good at fighting and hunting, but hardly exeptional at either...just good. Did that make him unfit?

Speckles smiled, then nodded. "Sounds great," she chuckled, picking up speed as she padded alongside Foxflame. She wondered why he seemed so... unwilling to talk about Marble. And his feelings. Shrugging it off, she sniffed the air.

Foxflame smiled and glanced over at Speckles with a shadow of concern spreading across his face, "Is everything alright? You seem a bit...distant." he meowed, dipping his ears back slightly.

Bubbleclaw yawned as she woke in her nest, feeling stiff and still tired. She had had a nightmare, and though she couldnt remember it, she had a bad nights sleep from it. Sorely she padded out of the warriors den, careful not to step on anyones tail, and went into the clearing, her silver eyes bleary as she groomed her coat down from its fluffy, bed-head stage to its normal neatness. She closed her eyes as she groomed her long soft fur, tired and not really wanting to face the day.

Speckles glanced up at Foxflame with a frown. "What? I was just wondering why you seemed so ignorant to Marble back in camp," she murmured, blushing gently. She gazed up at Foxflame with a searching intensity, her gaze flickering. I think... I like him... alot...

.: ROWANHEART :.
Rowanheart sat in camp, his fur slightly ruffled, just sitting there. He hadn't slept all night, and decided just to stay out in camp for the whole day. He glanced up as a cat padded out of the warriors den, then averted his stare as he realized it was Bubbleclaw. (WB)

Sighing, Foxflame looked down at Speckles and met her gaze, "Speckles, there are a few reasons why I'm not so...excited about Marble being here in camp with us. Question is, where do I start?"

Bubbleclaw looked up, the sun finally reaching her raw eyes. When she opened them, she flinched visibly as she saw Rowanheart just...sitting there. She wondered if he knew she was there...or if he cared. Bracing herself, giving her chest fur a final lick, she stood and padded over to Rowanheart silently, her eyes on him and her tail down. She tried not to show it, but she was nervous and really hoping he wouldnt still be so angry...though she doubted that.

Speckles eyed Foxflame nervously. "I dont know, anywhere! Start anywhere!" she prompted, frowning slightly. She let out a sharp exhale, impatient for him to explain.

.: ROWANHEART :.
Rowanheart glanced up at Bubbleclaw, his usually twinkling humorous eyes emotionless. "Can I help you?" he murmured, glancing away from her gaze. He wasn't going to start the conversation, but he wouldn't object if she began it.

Bubbleclaw shifted her weight awkwardly, glancing up at him a bit sadly, but mostly bravely. "Rowanheart...Im sorry." She mewed, sighing, "I wasnt talking about you when I said what I did, but you are right, it was wrong." she mewed, knowing she would never think of Rowanheart as a kittypet. "What I mean is, that, if you are a kittypet, you are a kittypet." She mewed, trying to say what was on her mind, "But you were a kittypet. Thats the difference; that you arent one anymore, and you are a warrior now...Speckles is a kittypet, and that Foxflame likes her, is wrong. You have to admit Rowanheart," she mewed, a ghost of a smile flitting across her face, "Any warrior falling in love with a kittypet is wrong. But, once she is a warrior...there isnt anything wrong with them becoming mates or anything." She finished quickly, spitting out the last few words as she blushed horribly, her eyes on the ground, wondering if he would be able to see what she meant...if he didnt...she didnt want to think about that.

Rowanheart glanced up at Bubbleclaw, before sitting up so his gaze was directly on hers. "So you dont hold anything against non-clanborn warriors?" he murmured hopefully, his gaze flickering. Maybe I just misunderstood.... Oh I hope I did!
