Thornheart yowled with pain. "Featherheart, I just want you to know...." he panted, unable to finish his sentence. He grabbed a breath and said "that....I love you.."Thornheart licked his mate's paw and his breath began to stagger. "I think it is my time."

Flowerheart saw her mate come out f the warriors den, looking horrified. "Shadowclaw, whats wrong?" she called.
