Larry smiles back at Wendy, thrilled to have met her. Great! He yips, play-bowing in front of her for a moment before hopping up and turing back towards the park. "Follow me, I know where they are, sneaky little critters..." He says and walks off in that direction.

"Wha-?" Miles tilted his head, not knowing about the sickness. "Have what?" he yipped.

Wendy followed behind him, soon matching her pace with his. "Rabbits are quite sneaky!" she agreed.

[Soriams]

Larry lopes along at a tireless bouncy gait and they are soon back to the edge of the park. He stops with his ears up and his gaze intent, looking off through a little screen of trees. He speaks softly to her now, "They are here, just past the trees in a little grassy area. There are hundreds of holes, so be careful." He says and takes a few steps into the brush. "You have to make them turn early, or they disappear so fast you'll never have a chance. So you take the left, and I'll go to the right, hopefully that will confuse them enough we can flush them together." His intensity is still lightened with a bit of happiness in his voice. He is excited not only at the thought of having something to eat, but also at the chance for conversation. Dogs are few and far between these days, especially friendly ones.

[Chef Kitty]

"Hmm..." Faith pondered for a way to make sure.
"Have you been in direct contact with any other dogs or cats - like we are - in the past week?"
Hopefully he could remember that much.
(( I have to go take a shower. I may not get back on till tomorrow. Bye, if so!))

Miles blinked. He could hardly remember what he had for breakfast. "Um...no?" he said, perking his ears up. 'Why? What are we talking about?" he asked.

Wendy nodded sneaking past him. She scented the air. Rabbits, alright. She stopped just before a hole to wait. She knew patience would ensure a meal. Hard-work and patience. A rabbit would come up eventually, and she could either kill it, or chase it in Larry's direction for him to kill.

[Soriams]

Larry creeps around to the other side of the lawn, and eventually can see Wendy take up position over a rabbit hole. Perfect. He thinks, getting ready as he spots a few rabbits hiding in the grass. Now all I have to do is get them to run in her direction. He tenses up, his eyes locked on the rabbits in a lethal stare as he stores tension in his strong legs. A split second later he realizes it and explodes from the brush, sending the rabbits scattering, two bolting in the right direction. Larry concentrates his efforts on these two, forcing them to turn in the direction of the hole wendy is standing over. He is fast, and quickly gains ground on them quickly, but they will still reach the hole before he can catch them.

Wedny suddenly jumps in front of the rabbits, killing one, a pure white one, by grabbing it's body and shaking her head back and forth. Unfortuneately, the second one gets away. She drops the white rabbit to the ground, panting. "Nice teamwork!" she yips. "Sorry I only got one, though."

[Soriams]

Fortunately for Larry, when Wendy jumps out and grabs one rabbit, it scares the other one back in Larry's direction. Seeing his chance, he spins towards it and is able to snap it up within a matter of seconds. He trots back towards Wendy, rabbit hanging from his mouth and head held high, obviously proud of his catch. "You too, nice work." He says back, muffled by the rabbit still in his mouth.

Larry squats down on the ground like a sphinx, his long legs keeping him from fully touching the ground, and drops the rabbit in front of him. "Common, you gonna eat or what?" He asks jokingly, before reaching down to pull the fur off of his catch.

soul lies under the shade of a large tree, watching the other dogs, and she sighs. Why does she aalways end up here, why cant she get up the courage to go out and have fun???

Miles blinked. He could hardly remember what he had for breakfast. "Um...no?" he said, perking his ears up. 'Why? What are we talking about?" he asked.

"Okay. There is a disease out here- an epidemic of sorts," she paused, then thought she might as well explain it in simpler words, "-a sickness that spreads through dogs and cats fast. I asked you if you had talked to any other dogs in the last week because that's how fast it would kill you, a week. With that said, it means that you do not have it. Any questions?"
Faith devoured the bird now, as it was wafting a very lovely scent into the air. She liked this funny guy. What was his name... Oh! I haven't even asked!
"Oh, I'm Faith. And you are...?"
