Aria laughed and looked at the apple. "It suits you very well." She put her own mouth on the apple,to remove it from his. "But that's much better."

Dante almost didn't let go, but thought better of it. "Thanks." He said, almost like he was embarassed.

"Thanks. I don't do it much though. Not since my sister Kamarina died A couple years ago. We used to do duets together." Dende said sadly.

"I see." Star said. "I don't sing much. No one ever really listens."

"Well that depends on your take of the world. The forest," he put his paw on the soft mossy dirt, "listens to you with the utmost interest. The birds," he looked to a pair of songbirds,"love to sing with you. The trees," He placed a paw on a large hickory,"love to echo you. Everything listens. You just have to listen back." Dende said.

"I know. I mean that no wolves listen. At least, hardly any."

Aria smiled,"Now what? I think we did more damage than fighting." She snickered.

"That much, is true. Just remember. You are never truly alone." Dende said as he headed away, towards the waterfall.

"Sorry. It's just my big butt I guess." He joked.
