Toby smiled and sighed of relief. "Finally you asked!" he said and hugged her happily.

Grey smiled. "Yes, and thanks, I could use some help."

"Wow..*Cough* Choking me.....Ah... okay..... um see you tomarrow." Tess left him with a kiss and went home. She fell asleep, forgetting to turn off the stove. BEEPBEEP BEEP!!!!!!!!!!!! Tess woke with a start. The room was full of smoke. Her door was in flames. She would climb out the window but, she hates climbing. She fainted. She woke at the ER hurt, bad. "Well, nurse... she seems to be awkaning.... but I think it would help to put her down." Said the doctor in the room. Toby.. save me.. don't let them kill me... Tess thought.

Toby woke up and stretched and yawned. He got up and walked over to Tess's house but saw the door burned down. He looked inside and saw everything burned to ashes. He remembered where she probably was now and rushed to the hospital. He signed in and waited eagerly in the waiting room. Soon, the nurse called him in and he darted in before she got there. He looked inside the door and saw Tess. The room smelled like gloves and medicine. "Tess...what happened?" he asked worriedly and got on his knees beside her.

Lyna ran over to Grey's house and rang the door bell. In the distance she saw a house burning.

Grey opened the door. "Hey, Lyna!" she said, finally cheery.

Tess could not speak. "I hope you can hear me think, the house burned down and there putting me down.."
Tess thought hoping Toby could hear it.

"Grey! What type of decorations will we be making? And does that look like a house on fire? Weird how everything is on fire today." Lyna said.

"Hello, Lyna. I'm Tess's mom,Beverly. I heard you were one of her best friends, and thought you might want to know.." Beverly cought and sniffled."Tess was hurt in a fire today, and might not make it."

Grey nodded and shrugged. "I know. But anyways, the funeral theme is just white. We just need white flowers, vases, and ribbon. I already have the vases and ribbon, so we just need some white flowers." she explained.

Toby kneeled beside Tess, starting to tear up. "This has just been the worst day ever...you asked me out and it turned upside down, the entire day was perfect! And now..." he held her hand and looked at the floor.

The docter put the needle in and tess blacked out. She bit the needle and weakly licked Toby's nose. "I... ll....make...it... for...you"
