Moonpaw cautiously followed

Raggedstar flicked his shredded left ear in satisfaction and led Moonpaw from the camp. All of a sudden, they were standing on a cold, gray mountain side. Raggedstar glanced down at the young cat beside him. "Moonpaw, I have come with a prophecy." Raggedstar began as wind whistled through his thin pelt.

Moonpaw looked confused "what?"

"There will be Four cats, all of Half-blood Yet related Who hold the power of the Sun, moon, life, and death in their paws And the ultimate sacrafice will be paid." Raggedstar lifted a paw, claws unsheathed and raked it through the sky. The world began to spin, faster and faster, images flashing along with them. A young she-cat, fur as bright as the sun with shimmering green eyes stood on a small hill. Beside her were three other apprentices. One was Moonpaw. The others were unfamiliar, however. "The sun and the moon... Life and Death hold balance together." An ominous voice murmured. A new image, this one held an air of silence. The two unknown apprentices, one laying unmoving on the ground with red... the vision snapped, showing a new one. This final image was of the tree cats, standing on the mountain side in a sheltered cave mouth. They stared down at the forest where they lived.
"We're home." The sun colored she-cat meowed. Pain was hoarse on her voice however. "But we are one short."
The image snapped, leaving them on the dark mountainside once more.

Briarpaw lifted her head, blinking sleepily. She was in the Apprentices' Den. YAwning, she stretched and padded out, curving her back and tail.

Reedpaw perched in front of a stream, his paw out. It darted into the water and a fish flew out of the water.

Raggedstar sighed and smiled at Moonpaw. "Hello, I am Raggedstar, preceeding leader of Brokenstar. Come with me, Moonpaw."

Jaggedpaw trudged into the apprentices den, weary from training. He curled up in his mossy nest and closed his eyes, sleep claiming him almost immedeatly.

Tallstar padded through the windswept moor land and stood over Jaggedpaw. The young tom was fast asleep. The black and white leader paused to watch him, unusually long tail twitching. "Jaggedpaw. Wake up, Jaggedpaw."
