5 Years ago, the evil Great Dane Hougen, supposedly died when a bolt of what looked like lightning hit him on Ohu. Later searches found that his body was missing, only a tooth left on the ground from where he last stood. Weed and his followers where baffled, however they left it at that, believing he was simply dead. They couldn't of been more wrong..

Personality: Weed is generous and kind to whatever dog he meets. He loves being in the company of others, no matter who they are. He will always give other dogs a second, and even a third chance if they've done something, even if it was to deliberately hurt him. The one thing he cannot stand is dogs hurting other dogs simply because they can. When he gives a real order, he expects the dogs of Ihu to obey. He isn't sadistic or mean, but if one of his dogs purposefully kills a dog when he's told them not to, he won't ever forgive that dog.
History: Weed is the son of Gin and Sakura. One day while Weed was bird hunting, he met another hunting dog, an English Setter named GB. At first Weed tried to steal GB's catch, but GB quickly overcomes him. Weed explained that he needs the bird to feed his mother who was very sick. Filled with emotion, GB lets Weed take the bird, but warns him not to wander in this territory ever again, because it belongs to a vicious boss dog named Nero. Greatfully, Weed takes the bird, expressed his gratitude and quickly ran back to his mother. Later that day GB goes hunting ducks near a pond, this time with his packmate Sasuke. Not long and Sasuke is caught by the Tosa guarding the ducks. Sudenly Weed arrives and tries to save Sasuke, while GB is hiding cowardly. After being knocked out by the guard dog, Weed, filled with rage, does the Zetsu Tenrou Battouga, a technique only his father and grandfather can perform, for the first time, severing the guard dog's ear and and freeing Sasuke in the process. While in great pain, the guard dog tries to kill Weed, but another dog arives to the scene - Smith, one of Gin's most loyal comrades. Afraid of Smith's powerful aura, the guard dog quickly let Weed and Sasuke go and hid in his dog house. With the guard dog taken care of, GB comes close to Weed. After having a short conversation with Weed, Smith finaly realizes that this is the son of Gin. The three went to the old house where Sakura lies so Smith can talk to her about Gin. There Sakura asked Smith to bring Weed to his father in Futago Pass. Shortly after Smith promises her, Sakura died from her illness. Being heartbroken, Weed and the others bury her body. GB decided to leave Nero's pack and because Weed is left with nothing here, the three head for Futago Pass. Shortly after they left, the three met a chained dog, named Hook. From him they learnt that this is the territory of Blue, the boss dog Hook and his brother, Kuro, used to serve before Blue killed Kuro. Weed rushes off to save a young pup named Mel and manages to win the fight against Blue. But they learn the truth that Ou has been destroyed by a monster but Blue tells them that the Ou soldiers has gone crazy and attacked humans. Weed doesn't belive him and attacks Blue and his pack. However, when Blue trued to flee across the road, he was hit by a truck. As Weed tries to help him, another truck drives by which was about to run over both of them but Blue saves him and gets hit again. Weed becomes confused and asks him why he save him and he says it was he showed him kindness and he dies. Weed cries over his death but continues his journey to Ou with Smith, GB and the now their new joined member, Mel. GB gives Weed permission to go ahead feeling how much Weed wants to visit his father, as Weed enters Ou he soons figures out something is terrible wrong as he trips over a dead dog. He met the dogs, Ken and Kagetora who tells them that the paradise has been attacked by a monster and killed most of the soldiers. They also call Gin a coward for not letting the younger soldiers fight with Kaibutsu, Weed gets angry and defends his father's reputation the best he can. Just as Ken and Kagetora is about to attack Weed, GB steps in and saves Weed from getting into a fight. Weed continues to look for his father and meets a dog that looks just like and is convicned that its his father, the dog tells him to runaway but doesn't and the monster Kailbutsu appears and weed gets so scare of him that he freezes and the dog pushes him out of the way saving his life and Kaibutsu grabs the dog and bites him to death. After seeing this and watching Ken and Kagetora fight he jumps into the fight and wounds kaibutsu who is soon chased away by humans and Ken and Kagetora are impressed by weed and become his friends. The group later meets Smith who says the dog was not gin but his subsitute Tokimune but Weed is still upset over his death because he saved his life. The dogs bury Tokimune and see strange dogs up a cliff. Weed hears from Akame that his father has been captured by Hougen so he an his friends go off with a small pac go to gather more dogs and rescue Gin from Hougen. Along the way to the Southern Alps Weed gets taught how to fight by Jerome and he meets Rocket who first tries to kill him but later join him after seeing how kind he is. after John's death Weed realises how strong and powerful Hougen is and decides to continue looking for dogs.
Weed makes lots of friends like Hiro, Kyoshiro, Tesshin who teaches him his father's famous attack but also makes dozens of enemies and his is much smaller than Hougen's. In the final battle Weed goes after hougen but Hougen keeps on running away from him. Weed has a one on one fight with Hougen who badly wounds him, Weed almost gives up until deceased Ohu sodiers come to his aid giving him strenght and Weed hits Hougen once more but Hougen survives and Gin almost kills Hougen but Weed pushes him away and lets Hougen live. Hougen isn't touched by this at all and gets struck by lighting. Weed is declared the new leader of Ohu.

All the time his sadistic streak remains. He enjoys seeing other dogs in pain, the more pain they're in the better for him. He has absolutely no compassion for other, weaker dogs than himself. He shows no signs of love or even care for other dogs. The only time he sees to be happy is when he is tormenting other dogs, or forcing them to do what he wants.
History: Hougen was originally a domestic dog, who with his brother Genba were locked in a shed with lots of other dogs by there owner without food or water for days in hope that the dogs would breed and he could make money from the pups. However, Hougen and Genba killed and ate every dog in the shed, this left them with an incredibly and in some instances disturbing sense of twisted power and cruelty. Some days later, when the breeder returned to check on progress, he was then killed and eaten by the brothers and afterwards, they escaped into the southern alps where they claimed large territories and lead large mostly formed of rogue or misfit dogs, like Nero. One day, when they realized that their packs were the largest in the region, they decided that they could take Ohu and become rulers. They set there plan into motion by kidnapping Gin and also John who Hougen had murdered. Soon as news spread of their power, more and more dogs joined them until they succcessfully took Gajou, killing anyone who questioned or failed them, sometimes even their own followers. They also outnumbered Weed's rebel alliance by 600 and felt safe in the knowledge that they were unstoppable. However, Weed managed to overthrow Hougen and Genba's empire by systemmatically taking out three generals and overpowering the panicked troops until Hougen was left as the last dog left to fight. In the final round, he fought Weed long and hard in the battlefield. Although he almost killed the young dog, Weed succeeded in taking Hougen down with the help of the deceased Ohu ghosts and using the Battouga. As Hougen lies in the snow, Gin and the other dogs move forward to finish him off, but are stopped by Weed, who passionately tells them that if they cannot forgive their enemies, the war will never end. Hougen uses this opportunity to climb to the top of Gajou, and crazed by his defeat, he screams down at the victorious Ohu army that he will kill them yet when lightning strikes him. The lightning failed to kill him, simply knock him off of the mountain and almost blinded him. He is now yet again gathering more dogs, and has managed to force the Ohu army deeper into the Ohu mountains.

Personality: Rough and decietfull. He does what he wants, when he wants to. It has only been recently that he has started to act more civil towards other dogs. He still doesn't trust them with any of his secrets, as he knows none of them have fully accepted him yet, but he's trying as hard as he can to be worthy of their trust. History: Thunder is the brother of Lector and worked under Hougen as an assassin. Thunder used to be at the same military facilities as Jerome but he and his brother where transferred to get specilazied fangs. They make Teru's father help them after finding Weed and Kyoshiro. As the fight breaks lose Thunder fights Weed, but as Weed's pack appears he and his brother tried to flee but gets spared by Weed in the end. Thunder and his brother returned again to try and finish the job of killing Weed and ended up in a fight with Weed and Tesshin which they lose. Yet again their lives is spared by Weed. As they flee they start planning on how to kill Weed which Jerome hears and then decides they're to dangerous to be kept alive and after a short fight, Jerome overpowered Lecter and Thunder and bit him on the throat, much to Weed's dissapointment. However Jerome failed to kill him. He was barely alive when an older dog found him, by the name of Thistle. He took him into his den, cared for him, and for the first time in his life, Thunder knew compassion, and the feeling of being looked after. He reluctantly left Thistle to go back to Ohu, now that his mind had been changed, he tried to do what he thought was right, and just as planned, he was allowed into Ohu's ranks. Many dogs still don't trust him because of his past, however he is trying hard not to slip into his old ways.

Strengths: Trained assassin~Good with fighting, specialised fangs especially made for cutting, strong fighter, quick runner, strong minded, sticks to his decisions, very determined.
Weaknesses: Not very trustworthy, too quick to judge other dogs, his past judgement sometimes gets in the way, not a good hunter, sometimes gets too determined and ends up getting hurt because of it.

Personality: Tain is mainly sensible. He tends to keep a cool head, even in the face of danger. He is serious at the best of times, and is generally always out on the look out for danger. He takes pride in his ability to fight other dogs, and most of the time win. He absolutely hates humans, and can't stand what they put him through when he was younger. He rarely gets into arguments when he thinks they're pointless. He doesn't really care for other dogs, as he simply sees them as a hinderance, unless it's in the heat of battle, then he just gets overexcited and tries to kill everything that moves. He acts older than his age, cunning but quiet, he keeps his opinions about other dogs to himself, and watches from the sidelines. The instant he meets other dogs he almost instantly weights up their strengths and weaknesses.

From the time he was a pup he was taken away from his mother and siblings and was taught how to fight by a group of professional dog-fighter trainers. He soon forgot the love and safety that his mother and family had provided him and kept his mind focoused on the fighting. He learned quick. In his first fight his opponent was one of the champions, everyone had bets against him. He proved them all wrong, from the moment he stepped foot in the ring he used all of his intelligence and strength to beat it. He hadn't ben taught the rules and almost ended up killing the other dog. It was only because humans came in, with sticks and tazers did he stop fighting the other dog. Throughout his career he hadn't been beaten a single time. One day he was in his cage when he saw one of his siblings pass his cage. They looked so happy that he longed for that life again. He broke out of his cage and ran into the wild. He quickly learned how to hunt for himeself and made a happy lifestyle for himself, until he found his this place. The forst things he saw was Hougen murdering a dog half the size of him. At first he was shocked, then he found that he liked the way this 'pack' lived. He kept his past a secret however, deciding that a new lifestyle didn't need reminders of the past.
