Gambler looked at Air Frost as if she were crazy. She had just lost her mate. The white wolf's face flashed before his eyes. Had he already made his move? The black wolf's Icy gold eyes looked out of the den after her as he sat down.
Lee looked at Lake Shore and then the others before hanging his head in shame. 'I will always be nothing but a failure!' he thought as he turned and ran out of the den into the deepest and darkest parts of the forest. He lost his footing and slid down a muddy slope. He forced himself to stand and looked up. The slope was deep on both sides. Lee knew that he had to get out before it rained. Slowly he started climbing the slope but fell twice. After a while he was at the top. His silvery gray fur was covered in mud when he got out. He laid down to rest for a bit.
Knight was on the outskirts of the pack's territory. He was watching the pack from the tree tops. He had heard of Spirit's death and knew that the black wolf would try to pin the death on him.
