The white wolf sighed "Then you don't remember.'' he said quietly. "My name is Knight and I was not talking about when we met yesterday. That was not a long time ago.'' he said now looking to the ground. "It was about two years ago.'' he said quietly as he looked away.

Air Frost suddenly remember. "When I was they age of my pups. We met..." she paused, "I do remeber... I think."

Knight sighed "You keep asking me what I want.'' he said with a sigh. "Don't ask things that you do not want the answer to.'' he told her. She was the only wolf that Knight had gentle eyes for. He was cold and hard on everyone else. He looked away from her not letting her see what else his now gentle eyes hid.

Air Frost sighed and stood back up,"If that's all then I'm leaving. I have a pack to care for while my mate's injured..." she paused, "Good bye, mabey we can meet again but out of our territory..." her soft voice trailed off. As she was running through the bushes she wished she knew why he wanted to see her. Gamble said something about him being a gladiator wolf

Knight shook his head as his eyes, aura, and body went back to those of a war wolf. His eyes were now stone like and filled with danger. His body was strong and alert. The thing most ominous about his was his aura. It seemed to radiate around him and kept others at a distance. The dark aura sent an alarm threw anyone who got too close. It told them that a powerful danger was near. ''You still don't understand.'' he said in the icy cold tone. He leaped back into the trees and vanished into the darkest parts of the forest.

Gambler was waiting at the entrance to the pack's camp for Air Frost to return safely.

Air Frost spotted Gamble at the entrance. "Gamble! I don't think I'm going to meet that wolf... I know how you said he was a gladiator wolf but he didn't seem to be dark his eyes looked... well umm... they looked... gental and caring like he liked me. But he knows I have a mate and pups I'm just worried..." she paused taking a deep breath, "I'm worried about him doing something to Spirit." Sitting down she waited Gamble to reply.

Spirit heard his bone crack and he felt a pain where his heart was and almost instantly it went black. Finding himself walking on air he saw his mother. "Am I... am I dead?" he asked his mothers cloudy figure. "Yes." she replied. "Oh, my bone poped my heart didn't it?" he asked his mother. "Yes, I'm sorry son but this is not the destiny I had instored for you." pausing the driftd away. "Mother wait!" Spirit howled after his mother.

Lakeshore woke up and looked at her father. "Papa? Papa!" she whimpered wishing she saved him. "Lee..." her vooice trailed off, "Spirit, well... Well he's gone." she pushed her muzzle into his fur and blood begun to came out of his mouth. "His heart... his bones..." she whispered.

Lee turned to Spirit and Lakeshore. He swallowed hard and walked over. He studied Spirit's form before lowering his head. "I am sorry Lakeshore.'' he told the young female. "He is in paradise now.'' he told her and licked her head softly trying to comfort her. After a moment he turned and started out the den's entrance to find his father and Air Frost. He found them at the entrance of the camp. The young male walked over and bowed his head low "Spirit has passed on.'' he told them. He felt a heavy weight on his shoulders. His father had left him to watch over Spirit and he failed. "I am sorry.'' he told them both.

Gambler was about to answer Air Frost when Lee told then of Spirit's passing. "It is not your fault Lee.'' The large black male told his son. He started back towards the den.

Rain Drizzle awoke to the sound of voices. She looked up to see Spirit's motionless body
laying in the nest. "Oh no!" she whispered with disbelief. It couldn't be true! He couldn't have died!

((Idk what time of day it is, so Rain Drizzle either slept in or took a nap ))

Air Frost's felt her heart burst in pain. "No!" she cried racing past Gamble and into the den with Sprit's body. "Spirit." she whimpered softly pushing her head into his soft fur. "Lake Shore ... do you know what happened?" she quietly asked her younger daughter. Closing her eyes she wished she could make everything back to normal but she knew nothing happened. "Gamble..." she paused. "Since I'm leader now..." taking a deep breath she breathed out, "... I want you to be my second in comand." She licked Spirits dead body and looked at Gamble. Relizing that she had feelings for him she softly whimpered and pushed her way through to the entance of the den. "I'm going to take a walk." she whispered to everyone.

Lake Shore looked at Lee blinking tears from her eyes.

River Flow and Air Way woke up to the sound of all the noise and they walked to the entance of the den. Both gasping at the sight of their father. "No." whispered. "Papa?" sounded Air Way's voice.

=most wolves where trying to sleep for early hunting... but Lee and Lake Shore were with Spirit

"I'm so sorry!" Rain Drizzke whispered to the pups, watching Air Frost go. She knew that she hadn't known Spirit for long, but she never liked another wolf to die. "He will always be remembered," she told them, trying to comfort them, but she knew there was no way to. She walked out of the den, sad memories flowing through her. Suddenly, she felt what Air Frost was feeling, remembering when she had lost Tukah.

Rustling Leaves woke up, hearing his mother's even pace. He recognized them, her heavy but dainty steps. He got up, realizing his den mates weren't there. Padding out of the den, he spotted Spirit's dead body. "No, no, no!" he murmured, looking at the figure in sadness. He walked over to his mother, and pushed his nose into her warm fur.
