Peregrine groaned, "Uurgh, I don't want to get up." Rolling on his side he made an exaggterated snoring sound and lay down in a dramatic position showing how little he wanted ot get up.
{*facepalm* I'm so sorry! I thought I replied to that...apparently not. Dx}
Tucker nibbled the last remains of meat of the mouse, glancing up as Rayven spoke. He nodded his head and quickly groomed his whiskers and chest, brushing small tufts of fur off himself. The tom nudged the mouse aside and trailed after Rayvyn, stopping a few feet away from the two. "Hi, Flicker." Tucker said shyly. She-cats made him nervous.

Adrian narrowed his eyes at Dance's exuberance, feeling a bit jealous. Even a Royal had more freedom as a kit then he had ever had. His back stung a bit from the Princess' claws, but it was nothing mor than a mere prick. The tom strode foward, studying her. Dance was hovering in mid-air, and kept glancing over. Adrian followed her gaze. Flicker? And a small black tom...Rayven, was it? He launched himself into the air and sailed softly over to Dance, whapping her gently on the side of the head. "please pay attention, Princess." Adrian purred silkily.
Flicker looked at Tucker with a small smile, "Oh, hey Tucker." She meowed. Tucker couldn't fly much either so she didn't feel much of that jealousy that she genrally felt around winged cats around him. Still, her voice held a bit of a sullen note in it as she waqs still unhappy over the treatment of other cats by the Royals. She figured she should be used to it by now but...
Dance immediately snapped back to attention. "Sorry Adrian" She said, blushing. Glancing once last time towards Rayven and Flicker, she lightly hovered down to stand at the very edge of the cliff. "Let's try again, shall we?" She asked, her voice still low from embarrassment.
Tucker pinned his ears back, anxious. Flicker sounds grumpy... He thought to himself. Was it something I did? He cast an almost helpless glance towards Rayven, and edged backwards slightly. "U-um, are you okay? You seem down?" Tucker asked cautiously, wary of making Flicker even grumpier.

Adrian folded his wings in a nd dropped to the ground with a thud, staring up at the Princess. He grinned slightly, exposing one long, wickedly sharp canine tooth. "Yes, please do. Try to stay on this time. Once on an enemy's back, you have a few options. You can rake their spine with your hindlegs, dig your claws into their shoulders, or bite their neck. Pick one."
Flciker sighed again, "It's not you, Tucker, if that's what you're thinking. It's not you either, Rayven." Her gaze travelled across tyhe faces of the two toms then down to her paws, "It's just...I'm just tired of all the mistreatment that us wingless cats get from the Royals. It's not fair." She looked up at Tcker, "You get it, right? I mean, the Queen was never really nice to you because of your wing, was she?"
Dance nodded. "Should I worry about hurting you?" She asked, unsure if he wanted her to hold back. Se could go eier way, but didn't want to incapacitate her instructor.
Tucker lowered his gaze and shuffled his paws a bit in embaressment. "No." he said quietly, pulling his crippled wing tightly against his body. "I think she hates me. It seems like every cat does, sometimes. It's not fair. I wish I could be like them." The last part was more of a mutter, as it appeared he was talking to himself. "But...they're royals, right? We have to follow what they say." Tucker glanced up, eyes wide and almost frightened.

"I'll be fine." Adrian shrugged. "I've endured worse injuries, Princess. I've been in battles before. Broken bones, torn flesh. It's all the same to me." A little thing like you would'nt be able to hurt me, anyway. He stepped back and crouched down, tracking Dance's every movement. "Go when you're ready."
"I deal with it too, y'know. The annoying, haughty winged cats who think it's funny that we have wings and thnks it's funny to taunt us for it." A cold note came into her voice, "You'd think the Royals would act better but I see the disgusted glance Nyc throws my way. I know she cares less about me than the cats with wings, the ones who can fly. I wish I could fly away sometimes."
Dance nodded and she crouched down, bunching her muscles. She glanced down briefly to see Tucker and a little smile flitted across her face. She liked Tucker, he was cute in a puppy dog way. Narrowing her eyes in concentration, she kept her eyes glued on Adrian as she pounced. Landing only a bit of target, she quickly adjusted and sunk her claws in for balance. She began to bite at his neck, while digging her claws deeper into his shoulders. Maybe I can surprise him by using two of the moves he described She thought.
