"Sounds good to me," Seth said as he stroked the angry colts neck. "He's a beautiful mover," he added.

"He is, isn't he?" Steph smile and rubbed his neck along with Seth, resting her head on her cowboy's shoulder.

Still extremely wired and playful, Hoero bounded into the barn. She put her front legs on Steph's leg and whimpered, her tail wagging so hard it shook her entire body.

Steph stumbled a bit but laughed at the dog, rubbing both of her hands all over her face. "Who's a good doggy? Huh?"

Hoero yipped and ran around her legs, her tiger striped pattern shining in the lights of the barn.

"Shhh... Take it down a notch there. Too many horses." Steph squatted down and caught the dog in her arms. "Let's take this outside, alright?"

Hoero wagged her tail and licked Steph's cheek. She wanted to show her where she lived, and maybe she could live with Steph.

Steph laughed even more and let the dog go, wiping her cheek. "Come on, outside." She whistled as she walked out of the barn.

Hoero bounded after her, and then looked at the woods, hoping Steph would follow her.

Steph squinted in the direction the dog was looking at. "Is there a deer?" she thought. She looked down the the dog. "What is it?"

Hoero bounded to the edge of the trees, looking back at her, wagging her tail.
