Hmm, if it becomes mandatory, I will have to confirm it every day (somehow my IP changes each day and I delete cookies when I close my browser), so that will be annoying for me.
But security for everyone is more important I'd say, so I guess I'll just have to deal with it.

Did this feature break first try for anyone else? I put in my 2FA email, copied and pasted the code and it told me it was wrong. After I put it in again, it still said it was wrong and to try again in 15 minutes.

I'm also wondering if, once it's enabled on all accounts, will we still be able to opt out?

As someone who was effected by someone hijacking a different person's account and trading me this makes me super hopeful that it will not be happening ever again. This is good! Thank-you Nick for hearing the cries of all the people who owned the accounts that got hijacked and people who were traded by those accounts and lost stuff. I had been super worried about things happening again and this eased that worry a lot.

Since enabling this I get logged out of my account every time I exit my browser. I have never ever had this happen before so I am assuming that its because I opted in to this :( I log back in no problem but it's kind of frustrating having to do it every time I want to check cs. I'm on mobile and using ecosia if that makes any difference.
I'm very happy you guys have finally implemented this though
