Marblestep looked at Shinepaw. She was in the river. Gasping he lunged in and tried to drag her out of the shallows but would it work? She seemed determined.

((Well, Shinepaw is so mad at Marblestep that she is trying to drown herself... Maybe Willowpaw could realize that she doesn't really like Reedpaw after all... Marblestep could see Reedpaw helping Shinepaw out of the river and them fall in love, then realize that he is still in love with Willowpaw... You see, Shinepaw can never be with Marblestep again ['cause of emotional problems], but Willowpaw can. And I think Shinepaw could easily love Reedpaw, if he would love her back...))

((I guess that would mean that Shinepaw and Marblestep are both left mateless... Too bad, Shinepaw could really like Reedpaw, but if you want Willowpaw and Reedpaw to stay together... I liked Willowpaw and Marblestep- they were cute XD.))

marblestep lunged in the water and swam as fast as his legs would carry him. If he hated her or not, he would still save her. Biting down on her scruff he huled Shinepaw's head out of the water gasping for air himself.
