As Fireheart and Roxie went headed to the shore a enraged Poliwrath fired a hydro pump on them. Fireheart grabbed Roxie's arm and barely dodged the attack.

Niijan sniffed, and easily crawled out of the hole. "I am a coward..." He mumbled, and began to fill the hole back up with dirt. He didn't look the Riolu in the eye, because that would get him worked up again.

"Sorry...About my unfriendliness...I don't usually trust other pokemon like this." He began, "I got released into the wild too early, and I haven't been very...Brave since then." He added as he dug the dirt.
"What about you?...Do you have a name?" He asked, and kicked the last of the soil in.

Riolu looked at Niijan. "I cannot help you with that, my friend. Whether you are a coward or not, that is your responsibility." Riolu looked away, and looked at the clouds. "I do not blame you. To make a large change to one's life is a difficult task." Riolu's eyes wandered the endless skies. "No... I have never been captured before. I've always gone by Riolu."

Niijan nodded, and looked around. "Do you know what's happening to the world? One minute, I'm wrapped in a cocoon ready for evolution, and then I come falling out of it, still a nincada! What is this?" He asked, and began to scuttle forward. "Is the world...Ending?" He wondered, but said it aloud. He had never thought about the world ending, and didn't want to experience it. But if that's what was happening, they couldn't do anything about it.
