Shadowdance felt her pelt warm, and she looked away. "He is your leader, Shadowdance. Get over it," she mumbled under er breathe. "Have you chosen a deputy yet, Cloudstar? Goldenheart might be a good choice," she said, trying to calm herself down and redirect her thoughts.

[red fox.]

Cloudstar's ears flicked as he heard her say something, but it was quiet enough that he couldn't make out any words. "Hmm, I'll have to think about it..." He mewed. Then, catching her gaze again, "But Goldenheart might not be the only good choice in the clan." Before she could reply, he flew up the rock, loving the feeling of his muscles stretch and work beneath his glowing white pelt.

[lance.]

Shadowdance couldn't help but watch as her leader leapt onto the rock, his muscle rippling beneath his pelt. She shook her head and settled down beneath the rock, certain he was going rot say something. "But whom other than Goldenheart would be good? Goldenheart is amazingly loyal."

[red fox.]

Cloudstar sat on the top of the rock, his pelt glimmering in the sun. He remembered how his mother had once called him "the snow that never melts." His silver eyes glinted, the blue fleck catching the sun and reflecting it. Below him, he could hear Shadowdance saying something. He looked around camp, wondering where Goldenheart was.

Shadowdance watche Cloudstar, wondering what he would be doing. 'Who will he choose, I wonder? Goldenheart is the obvious choice, but still...imagine! Me, as deputy!' Shadowdance allowed her mon to wander as she waited for his announcement.

[red fox.]

Cloudstar had finally made his decision. "Cats of CloudClan, please gather around the highrock!" He called, waiting as they assembled. "I have chosen a Deputy for our noble clan. This cat has proven to be loyal, strong, and a good hunter." He paused, looking out among the cats.

[lance.]

Shadowdance could feel the anticipation rippling through the cats, all awaiting as eagerly as she was to find out who Loudstar had chosen to help lead his clan.

[red fox.]

"The new deputy of CloudClan is Shadowdance!" Cloudstar called, his voice filling the silent camp. He smiled proudly down at the she-cat who had once been his denmate, now his deputy.

[Dapplefall]

Brightpaw suddenly felt her eyes shot open as she glanced around the rather busy clearing. She felt. .empty, as if she were dead or something. She felt something weird on her back. "Hello?" She tried to ask, but it only came out as a small, shrill, squeak as she let her eyes close on her.
