Hawktalong glared at Thistlepelt "yea" he said flatly "and this is sorta 'our' place so it'd be appreciated if you leave" he meowed trying to sound nice

"Yeah Thistlepelt you shouldn't have followed us anyway so scram! NOW" Jayfeather yelled

Foxpaw puffed out her chest "I'm gonna do it! The future clan leader can't be afraid of a little water!" she mewed and slowly walked untill it dropped off into deeper water.

Cometpaw swam over to her pressing agents her for support he smiled "just move your paws like your running after a rabbit" he meowed

Hawktalon nodded glaring at Thislepelt "go Thistlepelt" he meowed

Foxpaw nodded and slowly stepped out into the deeper water. Once her back legs weren't able to touch the ground, she panicked. She grabbed onto Cometpaw and try to climp ontop of him, wanting to get out of the water.

Cometpaw laughed "its just like walking on land constraint" he meowed trying to keep her calm

"But but but..." she stuttered. Her back legs churned in the water while the rest of her was laying on Cometpaw.

"Why should I?" Thistlepelt said. he then walked over and put his paw on Jayfeather's back

Jayfeather pulled away and ran back to the camp with a tear in her eye

Hawktalon swatted Thistlepelt in the muzzle fiercely his claws not out. "Is this how you treat she-cats? you idiot!" he snarled "She is special to me and you have to come lumbering in like a fat badger and just crush it!" he spat his ark brown eyes blazed with anger.

Cometpaw smiled "but what.....is the great leader scared of water? c'mon foxpaw your amazing! show it! it's not that hard!" he encouraged

"But I can't touch the ground!" Foxpaw wailed. She knew she was being silly, but she didn't feel like getting off of Cometpaw. Besides she likes the ground!

"You think your the only cat who thinks she's special!? " Thistlepelt retorted he started to walk back to camp and under his breath he muttered "Mouse Brain!"

Jayfeather arrived back at camp and headed straight to Opalstar's den "Opalstar," Jayfeather sobbed "remember when we were little I would tell you all my problems?"
