Elena ate all the meat from the leg, leaving only the bone. The small leg did not fill up her empty stomach and she started eating from the rabbit instead of tearing off pieces. She ate until she was satisfied, leaving half of the rabbit for Ken. She licked her bloody lips, "Thanks." she said again.

"you're welcome." ken said and finished what was left of it.

Elena sat down. "It must have been hard to catch that." she muttered, glancing at her paws.

"no." he told her. "rabbits are easier then squirrels because they cant climb trees and you can ussually catch them when they run."

Elena stiffened and let out a small growl. "How'd you know I was trying to hunt a squirrel?!" she snapped at him.

" i didnt!" he insisted. "that is, until you just told me. but i was using it as an example."

Elena huffed and sat down, regretting her outburst.

ken watched her sit down. his fur had poofed up before in surprise ane he started to lick it flat.

Elena watched him lick his fur flat, "Uh.. Sorry... I guess." she said, not meeting his eyes. She wasn't good at apologizing, and rarely did so.
