Raine trotted into the clearing. She nickered to herself and sniffed the air. So far, she was alone. She bent her head to nibble on the green spring grasses. Her tail flicked around behind her at the first few pesky flies of the year.

Zeus walked through the dense forest that surrounded the clearing. He had decided that he would take a short stroll, just to see if everything was alright and he didn't have any real competition. He would like to start a herd, and claim this territory as his own, but he hadn't found any mares that would follow him so far.

Minna walked around where the beginning of the forest was, she pricked her ears listening forwards the forest. She was curious about so she decided to go and explore it. She slowly took a few steps forwards into the forest it wasn't as dense so she continued to walk forwards.

Ace Cantered through the open field, his fine coat had dry mud on and in his mane were weeds and flowers. His feathers on his hoofs were almost gray looking from all the dirt. He slowed down a bit and sniffed the air.

Raine scented another horse after a while of grazing. She looked around, and soon spotted the stallion. She whinnied, but not too loudly. She wanted someone to talk to, even if it was a stallion that she had never seen before. He was someone to talk with.

Zeus heard another enter the forest. His forest. Well, it wasn't his forest yet, but it would be. He nickered and looked around. He looked to where he usually entered the forest, and there he saw a mare. A rather pretty mare. He trotted over to her, dodging trees and roots as he went. "Hello there." he nickered with a charming smile.
