Humans may think that Earth is the only planet with life. Had their satellites explored further, had their space telescopes took more pictures, they would have witnessed the calls of the Saturnain beasts...the howls of the wolves...the whoops of the hyenas...and the roars of the lions.
Plot:
Wolves, lions, and hyenas have roamed the planet Saturn for as long as they can remember, and before. There are three main groups: the Arcana Hyena Clan, the Zealot Wolf Pack, and the Katana Lion Pride. Prey is plentiful, and the hunters are at peace with each other. What can go wrong? But, ah, isn't Saturn further than the Sun than Earth? It is constantly dusk there, and very cold. Can you survive the endless night?
General rules:
~ Keep this PG-13. That means no detailed mating/births.
~ Yes, you can make two of your own characters mate, as long as you follow the rule above carefully, and try to not have them isolated from their group for very long.
~ Maximum of four characters.
~ Keep the species balanced. Come on, we don't want 500 wolves, 150 lions, and 3 hyenas. 20 wolves, 21 lions, and 18 hyenas would be considered more balanced. Same goes for the genders. We don't want 60 females and 13 males. A more balanced scale would be 40 females and 39 males.
~ At least three sentences per post.
~ Absolutely no chatspeak. I cannot stress this enough.
~ Please, no swearing. If you absolutely must, star it out.
~ No powers. No insta-love. That's just...unrealistic.
~ Remember, there are NO TREES. There are scattered bushes here and here, and grass, too, and rocks that resemble trees, but no actual trees.
~ No unrealistic fur colors (Some exceptions apply for wolves and lions.) However, you can give them an unrealistic eye color.
~ Please, no pictures. I don't want to be blamed for art theft.

The lions' territory consists of hills. Lots of them. There are a few streams here and there running through them, and a few hills have small craters.
General appearance:
Unlike the Saturnian wolves and hyenas, there is no size difference between the Satrunian lions and their Earthbound cousins. In fact, the only difference is that a white coat crops up more commonly than on Earth. So, yes, you can make your charrie a white lion.

Pride Male:
He leads the pride with strength and nobility. He rarely has to hunt, but the lionesses mostly depend on him to protect the pride from anything that may harm them. To become the Pride Male, you need the Lead Lioness's permission (and mine) if there is one already, or vice versa.
Lead Lioness:
The Pride Male's mate. She leads all of the hunts, and is the mother to most of the cubs.
Other Males:
What the title says. They rarely hunt, but sometimes, they assist the Pride Male with his duties.
Flushers:
These two lionesses are part of the hunting party. They close off the prey's escape routes, while the Strikers and the other lionesses finish it off. There can be only two Flushers.
Strikers:
The two fastest lionesses in the pride. While the Flushers do their duties, the Strikers move in, and make the first attack. There can only be two Strikers.
Hunters:
These lionesses help finish off the prey. There is no limit to the number of Hunters.
Cub-Sitters:
They watch the cubs while the hunting party is out hunting. There is no limit to the number of Cub-Sitters.
Cubs:
This sort of goes without saying. They often eat last at the kills. There is no limit to the number of cubs.
