He lowered his head and licked her muzzle and ear.

Yin arrived, a little bloodied from the scratch and gasped. "I'll go and get some healing tools right away." she said and scuttled off.

Kite layed her head down.

Damien nodded and sat down.

Within a few minutes, Yin had returned with some sturdy sticks and long leaves. She dropped them. "Can you stretch your leg out?"

kite nodded and slowly extended her leg out and winced.

Lupus backed up to make room for Yin.

She picked up the tools and took them to Kite. "This may hurt a bit." she said as she made the stick-leaf cast round her leg. "Try not to move it too much. It will be healed in a few months." She walked back to Damien and Sage.

Lupus went to Kite and laid down. "If there's anything I can do for you, just holler."

Kite looked at him and nodded "Can you go please, I want to be alone for alittle bit." She said sadly and quietly.

"Ok, Kite." he sighed, got up and walked away. He turned around and said "You know what to do if you need me." He then walked out and away to be alone.

Damien and Sage nodded.

Kite curled up into a ball and started to cry softly "Yin can you come in here please."

Yin approached Kite and lowered her head. "Sshhh. The nurse is here."
