"What do you mean?" Silversong meowed, confused.

Peppersong lowered her head. "Silversong...she means what happened all of those years ago..." The she-cat said quietly.

[Wanderer.]

Silversong still looked confused. "I-I don't understand what you mean." She mewed.

[Symphonia]

"Silversong..." Peppersong sighed. "When I told Crow that I didn't want an invasion to happen right in front of me again, she asked 'again' meaning what happened during the first invasion." Peppersong tried to explain.

"What invasion?" Crow asked.

[Wanderer.]

"Oh, of course." She had hoped she was wrong. Silversong wasn't sure she could tell the story without crying. Well, not long ago, badgers invaded. They-" She swallowed. "They killed almost everyone. Even the kits, except for Tanglepaw. If only I'd known how to fight..." She trailed off. "Anyway, they were ruthless. They killed every cat they could. Thats how I got this." The medicine cat mewed indicatin to the deep scar along her side.

Peppersong shuffled her paws awkwardly. She knew that Silversong hated talking about this.

As Crow saw the scar on Silversong's side she started to burn with a fury she had never felt before, "my own parents were killed by badgers," she said, "and if there is 1 thing I know how to do is how to kill them, I have spent most of my life learning how to kill them and some times even tracking them down. We must go after thoes badgers, they could come back." She looked one last time at Silversong's scare before asking, "was anyone else hurt?"

[Wanderer.]

"Anyone hurt? More like anyone not hurt? Everyone was hurt, physically, emotionally. Cats died. Many did. Others fled. Some,like me, were lucky. I was knocked out and mistaken for dead. So I was left alone." Silversong had to force her hackles down, how much would she like to rip those badgers flesh.
