Tanglepaw had a notch torn from his ear, and he was breathing hard a cut along his flank matting his hindleg with blood. "the kits are safe, but- oh Starclan" he said stopping his run to the she-cats as he saw Brightstar, "this was her last life...." he said bowing his head.

Silversong nodded and padded into the fores before bursting into tears. She knew they could hear her but she didn't want them to see her cry. "I'm sorry Brightstar. I'm so sorry. I did everything I could, it was just too late." She meowed into the sky, where she knew Brightstar's spirit was going. It's okay, I feel no pain here. Thank you, I'll never forget you, try to remember me. She could have sworn she'd heard Brightstar whispered. "I will Brightstar, forever."

Silversong stood. What was she doing? Her Clanmates were hurt and needed her. She wlked out of her hiding area to where her Clanmates were. "I'm sorry about that, I needed a moment." She knew they knew she had been crying, she didn't even knowif she'd stopped yet. But her Clan needed her, she'd set her feelings aside until she could deal with them alone. "So, who needs treating?"

Nightshade dodged aside as the badger lunged at her. Snarling she reared up and sliced the badger's face with her claws. "This is for Brightstar" She snarled though clenched teeth. The badger let out a roar, throwing it's head back. Outrage and pain fueled Nightshade as she leaped forward, her teeth digging into the badger's throat. She quickly killed it.

Violetpaw purred "you can do it! You were so close!"

candykit padded up two the badger and out of pure anger and hatred she gained strength she walked under the badger unleashed her claws and stabbed the badger the the chest " THAT'S FOR HURTING BRIGHTSTAR!"
