No not BrightStar! Crow thought, not the LeafClan leader! "River, Wolf, help me take BrightStar back to camp, now." She was surprised at how she sounded, her voice rang with authorite, but inside she felt like she was going to break down in tear any minute, she was terrified for BrightStar.

"I want to help" She choked out to Crow

" brightstar don't leave please!" she nudged her leader and licked her ear. candykit started to get teary eyed

Suddenly like she could read the badger's thoughts she jumped off from it's back as fast as she could, right when the badger started violently shakeing itself, had she still been clinging on she would have broken her neck. Recovering quickly she ran in for another attack, slashing at the badger's legs intill there was no fur and the were raw with blood. Now the most tricky part, Crow thought, here go's! Crow ran around the badger in circles and fast as she could, getting it confused and just when the badger stuck out a paw to hit her, she leaped at it's face, clawing at it's eyes and was satisfied when it yowled in pain. Suddenly she saw LeafClan warriors running into the clearing, I'll let them finish the badger off, she thought. Caked with blood she raced over to BrightStar. Oh no! She thought.

Silversong stood after a lick to the leaders cheek. "It's no use Crow. She's gone." She hated herself for those last two words, but it was her duty. "I tried, I really did but..." She couldn't inish the sentence before crumpling onto the ground.

Nightshade dipped her head and grabbed her leader's scruff. "I can handle it alone if I must" She whispered but she couldn't stop flinching at the painful memories that kept flashing though her head.

Ashkit broke away from the other kit and raced to the badger, puffing out his chest and snarling with hackles up. He lashed out blindly with one paw but the badger was quicker. He snapped his jaws forward and closed around Ashkit's leg but he struggled madly so the badger couldn't get a good drip. The badger whipped it's head around, sending Ashkit flying.

"No...." Crow said in almost a whisper, "NO!!" Fury ran through her like fire, she jumped screaching onto the badger again where many other warriors were already fighting, ripeing her claws into it like knifes.
