(( Not sure where everyone left but Crow was talking to Wolf about leaving, Ashkit is in camp, Violetpaw is trying to get Silentkit to talk, and Nightshade went hunting with Brightstar. Brightstar threw her out of the way of an attacking badger. She raced to camp, called for help and now Nightshade, Crow, and Wolf are trying to fight the badger ))

River spun around and ran after Crow and Nightshade. She ran as hard as she could, hoping that they would make it in time.

Suddenly like she could read the badger's thoughts she jumped off from it's back as fast as she could, right when the badger started violently shakeing itself, had she still been clinging on she would have broken her neck. Recovering quickly she ran in for another attack, slashing at the badger's legs intill there was no fur and the were raw with blood. Now the most tricky part, Crow thought, here go's! Crow ran around the badger in circles and fast as she could, getting it confused and just when the badger stuck out a paw to hit her, she leaped at it's face, clawing at it's eyes and was satisfied when it yowled in pain. Now that it's blinded I can go in for the kill. When the badger fell to the ground holding it's eyes Crow bit down on it's throught, intill like the fox it stopped struggleing, caked with blood she raced over to BrightStar. Oh no! She thought.

candykit saw crow and brightstar " brightstar!" she whispered she slowly padded over to the leader and licked her ear

[Wanderer.]

Wolf saw the badger turn its attention to Crow. Instinctivley he lunged at it. Scratching its face and trying to dodge its jaws was the easy part. It's paws however, kept getting in the way. "Someone! Get Brightstar to camp! She's bleeding to much! Help her!" He yowled.

Brightstar collapsed, the badger looming over her. Ready to die she awaited the moment that would end it all. When the badger turned away she only had a moment of confusion befire her vision went black.

"Brightstar? No!" Silversong wailed. "Someone go get her! Go! All of you!" She started to break down and took a deep breath. "Tanglepaw! Get all the kits to the nursery before leaving. Ask Dawndream to watch them!" She called before grabbing her herbs and running out of camp.

Dawndream ran up. "Tanglepaw, their going to need all the help they can get. Go, I'll get the kits." She mewed quickly, knowing the apprentice wanted to prove himself. After a quick 'your welcome' glance at Tanglepaw, she started to gather up the kits. "Come on you guys, into the nursery for a nice rest."

River raced to the clearing just when Crow finished off the badger. She turned to find Brightstar bleeding out of her many wounds. River raced over, pleading to Starclan(she's not sure if Starclan is real yet.) that Brightstar wouldn't die.

Silversong saw Brightstar and knew she was beyond help but cleaned her wounds regardless. "Come on Brightstar, don't die on me now. Not now. Your Clan still needs you!" She muttered to the unconcious leader.

Silentkit gave a meow of protest

Ashkit looked deeply hurt. "But I want to stay out" He meowed

Nightshade's eyes filled with tears. "It's my fault" She whispered, "I should have never have left her" She bent her head and licked Brightstar's eyes. "Get up, please" She begged though a choked breath. Suddenly it wasn't Brightstar laying before her but Dirtclaw, killed by nearly the same injuries. Then with a flash in the head it was Hawk, killed on the Thunderpath. She shook her head to clear it. "I'm sorry" She nuzzled her leader's neck.
